Would be nice if they'd let us know!

No, Stars is only delaying to start all sngs/tourneys till more ppl can get back in time to play. If you have been effect by the server problems please forward a mail to support@pokerstars.com with the following text:

Topic: Refund - T#123456789 - $10.00 - screen name
Text: All tourney numbers

You will find all tourney numbers in the 'requests menu -> tournament history'/request-> tournament history.

This was a message from a PS support guy on other forum.

oops! Looks like they've cancelled all tournaments, and used the "roll - forward method". All players that participated in cancelled tournaments will get their part of the prizepool based on chip equity and you will receive a detailed email that explains what you got back.

I had my opponent down to 485 chips and had a massive edge against him since it was our fourth match and I was up 2-1 plus he was a big fish

And I only receive 13.85 in a 10.50 game

Little unfair aye?

---------

Dear ,

Tournament #327677127 has been cancelled due to technical reasons.

When a tournament is cancelled before players are in the money, we refund each player their tournament fee, and then divide up the prize pool based on the following formula:

- 50% of the award pool distributed evenly between remaining players
- 50% of the award pool distributed proportionally according to the chip count

At the time of cancellation there were 2 players remaining, and your chip count was 2,505.00. Total chips in play were 3,000.00.

Prize pool to be divided equally: USD 20.00 / 2 = USD 10.00
Prize pool to be divided based on chip count: USD 20.00 / 2 = USD 10.00

Your share in money equally divided: USD 10.00 / 2 = USD 5.00
Your share based on chip count: USD 10.00 * (2,505.00 / 3,000.00) = USD 8.35
Your entry fee refunded: USD 0.50

Total money refunded to your account: USD 13.85

We apologize for the inconvenience.

bit of a disappointing reply from stars. i was 1 of 25 in a 12/180 (blinded out in 9th), 8/8 in a 12/45 (blinded out in 8th) and 1/4 in a $27 9 man with 90% of the chips in play (blinded out 3rd).

i feel like they should give me the equity i lost but they only refunded me $12 and said i can't be refunded for the other 2 as i cashed in them.
