We're having problems with tournament registration and Sit & Go regeneration at the current time. Our programmers are aware of the issue and are working to fix it.

Sorry guys, we hope to resume normal service soon.

EDIT: About my 14th attempt to log on I got in, just delete or close mods whatever is appropriate

Full tilt is working fine as well as my internet connection but I cant log into pokerstars

I can connect to pokerstars but no tables appear, just the constant 'loading' and I click to login and press ok, and it appears I will log in but nothing changes I never actually log in

Anyone else having issues or just me?

It took an unusually long time for it to log me in this morning... Ran the "network status" under the help menu, and Australia and US East Coast came back as 0%... its been that way for the last hour now. But after it taking ~30 seconds to log me in, it worked just fine.

I even had a decent-winning hour long session this morning, so obviously something is wrong, lol.

I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this? Tables are very choppy, sometimes it just freezes for around 5 seconds, sometimes up to 10 seconds. Under help ---> network status I'm getting 0% bad on US East Coast + Australia, and 100% on the rest. My connection % on the table jumps from 99 to 90 to 70 to 60, and fluctuates around that, it's been happening all day long and it's really tilting the **** outta me.

I contacted my ISP, they ran several tests on my connection and told me it's working fine, we resetted the connection on my end and their end also. I live in West Covina, California btw. I emailed support, and they have forwarded my response to their 'tech team', so I'll post further information on the problem here when they send me their analysis.

Am I the only one that is having this problem though, seriously?

Actually it's Charter Internet's fault as I'm getting the same BS on fulltilt as well. I hate this ****ing ISP, but they don't offer anything else around my area, fml.

are you sure that there is no malware on ur pc that might cause traffic ? or maybe a windows update running in the background ?

You should try short stacking and see if that helps. You only need 20% of the bandwidth that way.

no, that's what they want you to do since then you become predictable, and you get to enjoy a bad red line and a bad blue line (since they won't call you in big pots and you'll tilt hero call their nuts)
in reality you should realize their ranges are wider and exploit that because when they make a raise or a call they will have a lot more BS cards than usual

the general concept is "bluff when your range has better equity than villain's range" and vice versa "value bet thinly when your range has worse equity than villain's range"

I have been regularly having this same problem for several weeks (location: Vancouver, Canada). It has easily cost me several hundred dollars and Pokerstars tech support was not particularly helpful.

For reference, I use a "dual WAN" router (wired, not wireless) with two very different service providers - one cable one ADSL. When the Pokerstars problems kick in, my connectivity to the rest of the internet remains fine (with plenty of available, unused bandwidth, working DNS, etc - I ran a lot of tests). I always have 0% to Australia and US East Coast. Then my Pokerstars connection drops for 30 seconds every 30 to 90 minutes - usually timing out most of my hands on most of my tables. Recently I had one where I reraised to 95% of my stack with the nuts and then disconnected -villain shoved and I timed out (ouch $$).

Despite the fact that my connectivity remains fine to the rest of the internet, Pokerstars likes to play the blame game and infer it's router stability at my end could still cause it. Therefore I just replaced my D-Link (DI-LB604) dual WAN router with a Linksys one (RV042) and the problem did not disappear.

It seems to me that there is some kind of significant router issue closer to their end , but they want to deny it being possible. I think the problem it started near the beginning of 2010.

I forgot to say that I also experimented with using jsut the cable connection (Shaw) or just ADSL connection (Telus) and the same problems remained in both cases. Under normal circumstances, howeever, I run in "load balanced" mode with both connections active.

has anyone resolved this problem? i had this problem at home, now i am in a hotel and have the same problem, it is not a router or internet problem, it has to be something with my computer or with stars...

100% on everything except 0% Australia and east coast..

That part actually doesn't concern me too much. The east coast server they test seems to be at Harvard and just seems to be down, The Austrailia seems to be real connectivity issues, but I doubt it matters.

What DOES bother me is that I can play multi-site and have no problem on playing (typically two of) Party, Everest, iPoker, Full Tilt while simultaneously my Pokerstars connection regularly drops and reconnects, causing a lot of hand timeouts that cost me money.

I'm having exactly the same problem in Australia: Network Status reports Australia, US East Coast, Yahoo Bad (0%) and the rest Very Good (100%). I noticed it for the first time about 4 days ago. I am not having dropouts once connected and it takes me a few seconds to log into Pokerstars. I have 3 computers on my home network with different OS'es all reporting the same issue, therefore I rule out firewall issues. I have been on the phone to my ISP and they rule out issues at their end. All other internet connectivity is fine.
At least I know I don't have to start purchasing new modems. I'll send the Network status reports etc to Pokerstars support and see if they can provide any help.
