There was a 2+2 thread of someone who drew a picture of the monster supposedly operating the doomswitch, and e-mailed it to Stars. That mail exchange was pretty awesome, if I remember correctly.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was someone making a thread to make fun of all the old stuff in the PokerStars VIP Store!!!!

EDIT #2 - Also donniccolo, 100% agree there. They are the best thing we probably will ever have in this industry and they just keep getting better and better. Their support is top notch, their representation on this forum cannot be beat and we do not have to worry about any nonsense of cashout delays or the other things that seem to be an issue for some of "the others" out there giving the online poker world a bad name.

I am one happy customer and as long as they never remove my choice(ability) to table select, they will never lose me. I am there for life. There is no reason to go anywhere else. They have a proven track record and although it is said that past performance cannot dictate future success, I think its a safe bet that PokerStars will continue to thrive and do what is best overall for the customer and their site.

Damn, I never heard about that guy before.

I mean these days who the hell knows anymore. I do not blame them for contacting the authorities but I am impressed that they actually acted on this.

Of course, thats the U.K. so not so sure it would have happened like that in the U.S.

I was doing some research yesterday and found that the first time they ran a $215 buy-in tourney was back in January 26, 2002, which was a Saturday and 349 players played that one with first prize close to $14k. Also, found the schedule of the first ever wcoop in 2002. The whole series had $200k gtd back then
