As a dinosaur I love FL holdem. I've tried a few online poker rooms but have come up mostly dry. There are 2 daily tourneys on Poker Stars and with some patience I can get in about a dozen SNG's.


Can anyone direct me to another service or two where I might be successful?

I'm amused that you joined in 2010, and yet this is evidently your first post. Eight years ago, there might have been limit games running on several networks. These days, Stars is just about the only site running fixed limit tourneys. Stars has vastly more traffic than any other site... and fixed limit online is effectively dead.

I've been thinking of spending some time abroad and playing poker while I travel. Problem is I like to play limit poker and I don't know if it's gained or lost popularity since Black Friday.

Does anyone know if there are enough good games 3/6+ to make it worthwhile to grind 4-6 tables? If I have to sign up to multiple sites for game selection, that's ok. I assume there are rakeback offers for some or most of the row poker sites. I've been out of the loop since 2011 so any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know any other site other than pokerstars which does not charge any fees for credit card deposits? And also if a Canadian dollar account can be created for deposit and withdrawal?

Hi everyone- after quitting online poker to play exclusively live in 2015ish, I’ve decided that in order to take my game to the next level I’m going to have to start grinding out plenty of hands online. I’m primarily an MTT player, however I’m looking to use an online platform to improve my 100bb+ play so am planning to play cash. What site would you reccoment for someone playing in the UK and what stakes will be similar to 50nl and 100nl on stars back in 2013/15. Also what’s the best hud to get at the moment? Really frustrated with all the changes Pokerstars is making at the moment (shutting down vip system, lowered table maximum....). Also dont want to support this anymore....its just hard to find good action :/

I heard about some pretty good action on Nevada/New Jersey Sites.

I assume you play for a living and you need high volume in mid-high stakes. If that's true then none of those sites you mentioned are a great option by themselves. They don't have a lot of traffic. You would want to play at Ignition/Bovada, Global Poker and/or the Winning Poker Network sites.

I believe you can play on the WPN sites from where you are now.

If you have a US ID and US utility bill you would probably be able to play at the other sites while you're here for a few months, but I'm not certain.

I mean any good action I can add is important for me, if I can mix it with other sites.
I am playing 6 sites at the moment to try to get enough actions in.

WPN I already played, but I didnt like it, the games are not better then on other EU sites + its insanely hard to get on tables because of big waitinglists.

Ignition I know that I cant play if I dont live in the US.

So Gobal Poker sounds very intresting
+ Small sites if I can add them its also nice

If anyone has informations to Global I would appreciate it. Is it possible to play there from europe?
Or If I go to the US (I will be in LA in September to play live) ?

You'll notice that numbers of the topic specific threads, such as this one, have been amalgamated into one for simple searching or scan reading so that answers to common questions can be found easily. Of course, someone may be along to answer you soon, or a unique question may not have been answered before, but, in the meantime, you might like to try those courses of action for the quickest results.

You won't be able to play on Global (at least not be able to cash out for real money) or Bodog/Ignition from outside the US or Canada. Well, I think there are a few Asian & South American countries where you can play on Bodog, but not in Europe. While in the US for a while, I'm not sure what their exact residency requirements are - might want to check with them.

You have lots of other choices in Europe - Party, Unibet, Microgaming, iPoker, etc., etc.

Which 6max cash games are harder. ACR or Pstars?

Pokerstars has by far the most volume. Not many tables run anywhere above 500NL, and it's mostly on Zoom (Stars) or FastForward (Party). FTP was folded into Stars, and basically ceased to exist. Games are tougher than ever, but there will still be fish at high stakes sometimes. On regular tables, the regs use seating scripts so they can find the fish, although Stars is moving to blind lobbies soon. (Most other sites already use some form of random seating).
Stars rakeback was massively reduced ('Supernova elite' no longer exists), but Party increased theirs. You'll learn this just by browsing the forums.

If you have access to all poker sites what would be the top 3 to play for a 6 max cash player looking to play around $50-$200NL?

Limit holdem is completely dead. The only site that runs any limit games at all is Pokerstars. Other than that forget about it
