If you're not playing mid stakes then Full Tilt is best because of Rakeback

Unless you're putting in HUGE volume for SNE...

FT > PS in terms of small stakes.

I'd disagree with all of the above. Unless you're playing high stakes and therefor have no choice but to play at stars or tilt which are the two toughest sites out there, then i'd go for a smaller network like cake or pacific where the games are much softer.

I'm interested to hear from people who play on Cake before i cash out my roll from FTP and move it over.

How do the games compare between the two?

What if . . .im looking for rakeback but I've been playing for a while and already have nonrakeback accounts at playersonly, lock,stars, UB, and AP. also I am currently "on the list" at full tilt but dont want to wait and would really prefer non HUD sites anyways. Ive been skimming posts and am leaning towards Nordica my main concerns are fish factor and enough volume to 6 table 6 or 12 dollar SNG's. i might play 25 or 50 cash if its super fishy too. Is anybody familiar with other sites or recommending Nordica. btw i'm a US player .

When i first started playing the rake at FT for 10NL was so outragous that it wasnt worth playing there until you got to 25NL. Since the rake was the same on Stars and FTP it was better to be on Stars until 25NL. Then moving back to stars at 100nl in persuit of supernova.

Now with the changes in the VPP system on stars along with my amount that i play i am not sure what would be better for me in terms of rakeback/rewards and would like your feedback.

I average 10-12k hands a month, should be up to about 15k this month. I am about to move to 25NL from 10NL. So my question is what is better for now in terms of rakeback/rewards? I dont play enough to qualify for even silverstar on stars right now so im leaning to FTP until i can put in more volume.

Is there a conversion chart i could be looking at to better compare this?

Just skim read some of this thread and saw a rakeback chart and thought i would add if nobody else has already that you can get rakeback at bodogpoker.

Right now I am playing micros ( nl10 ) at partypoker ... but their RAKE is killing me. I think it's 10% without rakeback ( well there are stupid partypoints ... in about 30k hands they will return me $10 oO ).

There is also problem with shortstacks here ... it's impossible to find table with just 2 or less shortstacks. Everywhere 4-6 or even more SSS players.

I was thinking about FTP, but read so many BAD comments since last update ... is it worth moving over there ?

I have been playing FR nl100 and nl200 on stars. I'd like to start fresh somewhere where there's a good bonus and rakeback offer, aswell as soft field, to start playing 6max.
Where would you recommend to start fresh with 1000$ capital?

fulltilt with 27 percent rakeback. First time 100percent matching bonus. Nicer software (maybe not since the update, but I still like it).

If you play alot, def worth playing here for rakeback.
cake has 33 percent rakeback, but slow traffic.

I personally never had a problem with the update, except for some lag. Maybe its because my computers new but I dunno. The updates are fine now and it should run ok. Tilt and stars have less rake than party, and tilt has rakeback.

Get rake back on Full Tilt. I have played 7000 hands of 10NL this month and have earned $40 rake back so far.

Cashed out from FT after the last mess-up, and was trying to find a new home. I had asked the board for advice a few days ago. Here's the story so far.

- signed up at Titan, they won't let me deposit since my IP doesn't match my credit card country.

- signed up at Interpoker. After some hassle with deposit, I started to play with 30% rakeback. The site's a desert. Wanted to start with NL200 and NL400. There was NO NL400 table going and very few NL200. Also the software was extremely slow and generally unbearable. After a cooler on NL200 (KK vs AA) and throwing away another stack with a weaker flush, I burnt the rest of my deposit in their casino. It is nice but I was losing at an incerdible rate.

- checked out Pokerstars, won't let my withdraw on Visa

- signed up on betfair. Was about to deposit when I saw that they are charging 1.5% on a DEPOSIT. Incredible!

- signed up on Partypoker and played a few hundred hands. Made some calculations to realize their rewards suck and can't compete even with moderate rakback. Software was nice enough though and good player volume, too.

- sat in the corner of my study crying and shivering. Thought about giving up online poker and get another wife. Cried and shivered even more. So now I desparately need a GOOD poker site.

- I have to consider moving back to Full Tilt, even though they won't let me participate in Ironman bacuse of my IP.

What's my point you ask. No point. But should somebody ever open a pokersite with good service and fair rake (actually rake-back is a joke in itself), I am sure millions of players would come...

Well there are many skins in Ipoker, play in one of them.You can also try Cake Poker.

Yeah, I'd say FTP for the rakeback which you don't get on Stars. Also, there's many good players on Stars at that level aswell.

of the sites you mention, PS has the lowest rake at NL10.

Your 5th requirement basically limits your choices to nothing. And even with those 2, there will be problems. If your American, you have no choice. If your not, you probably still don't have options.

Umm... party poker? I haven't played on it in years so I don't know how it's changed, but it worked well for me 8-tabling back in the day. Even had it set up to deposit directly to my bank account.

edit: oh crap, did somehow miss the rakeback part. They do have their VIP program but I have no idea how it is or how it compares to rakeback.
