I'm dumbfounded by your inability to read 3 posts above before posting.

I don't understand how my post contradicts with the post 3 before mine.

Well obviously I know they charge a different rake at small stakes, as I wrote so myself. Before my post, I also went to FTP's site to check that I'm not giving incorrect information. The limit for higher rake is NL10. NL25 and above have the standard rake.

Rake at NL25 is different between PokerStars and Full Tilt.

At PokerStars, 5c is taken for every $1 in the prize pool.

I got the same email. I had a century account from the days of my gpp account closure. I assume this is just another rebranding but am eager to hear any info.

oh sick. you got $20. i only got $10

but I should have thousands of gold chips at least!

note to make this clear: I never really played at century- a little dabbling- but I had hundreds of thousands of points from gpp that xferred over.

It seems to be on the Cake network, thats pretty good considering Lee Jones is running the network now. GPP always had good promos and such so I hope they continue it with this, it sounds like a pretty good brand they could push

if it's on the cake network I'm a pretty happy camper- unless it means im now ineligible for rakeback- at which point ****storm imminent.

the gold chips made me think it could be cake network related- but with no information given- and almost none I'm able to find on my own I couldn't tell at first.

one time dealer.

Just looking for advice on a new poker site to play on.

I currently play on pokerstars, fulltilt, party poker and pacific poker. Have accounts on cerus networks aswell.

I am mainly a SnG and STT player. Anyone recommend a good site that I am currently not playing on at the moment?

Thanks in advance

Peace

Hey guy's. Firsty not sure if this is right place to put this, so is it's not sorry.

I am looking to try a little something new so I am going to deposit a small amount of money, around £100(GBP) roughly $150(USD) online and start grinding the low limit SnG's, around the $1-$2 buy-in (not including rake). I am wondering if you can offer some advice on where to play. I already play on pokerstars, full tilt, pacific, party and cake. So was thinking somewhere like Boss, iPoker, ongame or somewhere elese.

Any thought's and recomendations on this would be great thank you.

iPoker has almost no traffic over 11$s. Those and below run quite fast and 6max too and the players there are awful. The bonuses compute to about 35% rb I think.

Ongame bonuses compute to a good rb too and the traffic there isnt that bad either. Games run bad in the mornings and nights (GMT time zone) though, which bugs me a bit.

FTP is good with rb. Stars also, but with 150usd bankroll I'd take the rb or some kind of a bonus to boost my bankroll.

I recommend ongame then, but u have to deposit a bit more, since the ultra-micro
sngs have terrible fees. (1+30 regular-sngs, 2+20 only DONS and turbos)
The first playable sng-limit is 5+50, if the fee bothers u.

You can play up to ~18 tables, if u use waiting-lists. The turbos have extremly fast 3 minutes blind levels, thus i dont like them much. But the regular-sngs have a nice slow structure (8 minutes) and play very well.

Traffic is between 5k at low times and 35k players at peaktime (23:00 gmt). The bonusses are always nice on every ongame skin and u can get lots of special deals (rakeback, ...). Hollywood-Poker and bwin seem to be good skins from my experience.

This isn't strat, so moving it to internet poker.

You play at a ton of sites it seems, not sure why you need a new one to play $2 games on. How about pooling your roll and playing higher, or spend the time on studying instead of finding new sites? Just a thought...

Hi,

I am new here in this forum so please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum.

I have tried out different online pokerrooms but have yet to figure out the best/most lucrative room to play shorthanded FL 1/2; 2/4; 3/6 and 5/10.

I guess one of the criteria simple is that there should be a lot of players/tables and also a lot of soft players. Another criteria is that it should have a EU-license so its tax-free for me - however experiences from all pokerrooms are wellcomed

Looking forward to your opinions.

well if you are putting in good volume and play those limits, pokerstars is quality once you hit the VIP levels. otherwise i would go for a place with rakeback if you do not feel you will put in a massive amount of hands. where are you from?
