I suppose the only thing that comes close is microgaming, although they seem to have low traffic nowadays..

Hey, guys

Stars has been a site of choice for the past few years but I have now decided to move my play elsewhere. I hope to find a site or two that's almost as good in terms of quality, so comment my picks or suggest good sites with or without rakeback.

Notes:
- MUST HAVE Sit & Go traffic at all or often times (Turbo's & DoN's a bonus)
- Non-US resident
- Playing NLHE & PLO
- Decent to good software. I care for GUI mostly
- I don't care for AP/UB

Sites under consideration include FT and Party in terms of high traffic. Smaller sites with nice software are Betfair, Interpoker (Boss), Carbon/Nordica (Merge), WPEX. What others are good ?

Thank You

FT and partay are good and seem best bet for y'all need.

However, do cheq out bodogg and PKR.

PKR best interface but it might not be for yo.

It rolls like D sims. Has good rakeback and soft playas.

Thanks for reply. A few more would be appreciated.

It seems if going on traffic alone, FT & Party are the only real choices if you are excluding CEREUS network. I forgot to mention my country is banned from Bodog.

What network is PKR on ? I do dislike the 3D gx but soft games can have me overlooking that. What about Cake Poker, isn't it growing in traffic ? I just hate the current software.

Thank You

Moved to Buenos Aires the other day, and wanted to start playing on other sites. It looks like the main thing to use is MoneyBookers. I tried to deposit with a credit card, but they wanted to txt me with the Argentina country code (still have a US phone).

To transfer money from my bank account they want me to initate the transfer. I have no idea how to do this.

Can people transfer money to each other on money bookers?

What's the standard Vig on US sites to euro sites?

Thanks!
Dave

Get Neteller and Moneybookers, one with dollars, one with euros. Transfer cash to and from sites/MB/Neteller/bank account in the same currency to avoid exchange fees (which are unavoidable). If possible, get a bank account in euros/dollars.

Yes, Moneybookers allow transfers between accounts at a very low vig (don't use it atm, but think it's only a low fixed amount and no %) and is superior to Neteller here.

Both of them require proof of ID and place of residence, like driver's license and electrical bill.

(Apologies if this is answered thousand of times. I've searched around a bit, but found no clear answers.)

In short, I wonder where I should set up 'home' for the long term as a euro player. Yes, I can kickbackwhore for a long time, but I can do that later too, when I can multitable better and finish them quicker.

I guess most US players do either PS with vip points or FT with rakeback, and I've been contemplating FT myself. Traffic and a tad fishiness are important for me. Right now I'm clearing Bodog, but low traffic and the contributed rake system puts me off places like that.

I'm currently playing .50/1 LHE, breaking even, low sample, while dipping my toes in NL. My goal is simply to improve as a player. For that I'd like a 'stable home.'

So, the short version: Are there any viable alternatives who offer RB, to FT for a euro player, where I can expect large traffic at small stakes LHE, and the place not being completely run over by non english speaking ultra nits?

Or for that matter; any reason not to start at FT? I understand they reduced their rake at the micro tables lately? I have the BR to get full use out of FT's bonus. Thanks a lot for any advice.

(And please, no RB offers through PMs, I know who to sign up through already)

Ipoker is pretty good for you, they don't have rb but have bonus program that's easily more than 50% for full table players. It is also pretty much the only euro network that has full ring limit games. You really want to sign up through a good affilite though, that way you will get a lot better deal than the one on the poker site's home page.

Hey ...

I am not sure were to post this and hope its correct here. Appologies if i am wrong.

I currently grind stars and play at Everest Poker every now and then as well (all Fullring). However the traffic at Everst is a joke atm. I can hardly find 10 Fullringtable and i allready mix levels from NL100 to NL400.

Therefore, I am looking for a new site to play at. I am looking for something fishy ... some eurosite or small site with just a little more traffic then Everest. I like the french and italians at everest and look for something similiar.

I dont mind the terrible software, therefore this is not a criteria. However, it would be nice if the PT3 hud is working.
I used to play or play at the following sites:
- Stars (atm)
- Everest (atm)
- TonyG (to get PT2)
- Party Poker (2+2 offer)
- Absolut, UB, Titan (no deposit boni from years ago)

Most important would be a good rakeback deal and a nice deposit bonus. I probably will put in about 2k and start playing NL100 Fullring. If u know of a good and fishy site and have a nice offer ... plz pm me or point it out to me.

cliffnotes:

Looking for a secondary poker site with:
- a good rakeback deal
- loads of donks
- a little more traffic then everest

P.S.: does the PT3 hud work with CakePoker?

No.

I would suggest some iPoker skin. Largest non-US network.

Probably more, but you don't have many options within your criteria. Ongame network is worse from what I've heard.

Hello everyone!
I have been playing on Stars for the last 1 or 2 years now and I am thinking of signing up with a different site now. I am mainly playing 5$ STTs (between 2 and 4 at the same time), some 5 to 10$ MTTs and a little bit of NL25 full ring.

I spend the last couple days reading all the feedback threads here in the forums and now I am even more unsure where to sign up then I was before…

Stars: I am already signed up.

Party: I already used a 50$ sign-up bonus, too…

Ipoker: seems they have trouble with cashouts

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...y-away-549604/

UB: I won’t play on UB and Absolute!!

FullTilt: Read about account locks. And comments that it doesn’t make sense for Europeans to sign up with FT unless you multitable a ton… (which I am not).

This site (http://www.pokerloyaltyinfo.com) tells me to play on SunPoker for best rewards for sng players….have never heard of that site before. Seems to belong to ipoker ()not good?!?! Is it?)

Cake: Seems to be good for Cash game players. How about SNGs?

Anyhow: Cake, FT, or SunPoker seems to be my options…

Although these kind of questions have been asked a million times before I will be very thankful for any helpful comments to make my decision.

I would take all things like rakeback, amount of players, number of easy games, cash out issues, and other things into consideration.

Will prefer any site that's not promoted by Phill Hellmuth

Thanks

I would say Full Tilt Poker for the 27% rakeback & fast cashouts.

Sun Poker offers a reasonable VIP programme (some site you can find on google compares the schemes on ipoker and it seems to do alright but obviously I have no idea who accurately the site works this out or if I can post it here so I'll leave it out).

The customer service there was pretty good though cashouts take 4 days even if you make the second highest (Mercury) VIP level.

Cake SNGs don't load much unless you mean DoNs in which case they load a lot (considering the size of the site etc...).

Thanks you for your answers!

I am just a little worried about the fakt that lately more and more threads about closed down accounts and hacked accounts on FullTilt show up here in the forum. I really don't have the money that I could effort to loose couple 100$ just because FT closing my account for no reason....

Cake sounds good to me, but I play the regular SnG with 1/2/3 payout...anyone having experice with playing these?

I wouldn't worry about the closed accounts. FTP doesn't close accounts just because they feel like it. As long as you don't violate the TOS you will be fine.

Yeah.

They're very strict about datamining and using websites with datamined info on players. Accounts have been closed for those reasons. If you play a fair game, there's nothing to worry. It's a great site overall, I've had an account there for an year. Fast cash outs without any problems, great software, lots of players and of course 27% rakeback.

PS. The comment that "it doesn’t make sense for Europeans to sign up with FT" doesn't make sense to me. Those stating that probably have no idea how lousy many non-US sites are in comparison.

Unfortunally, I don't find that post anymore(to quote it here)...read it here in the forums. I guess what the original poster ment was that there are sites with better deals which probably don't allow US players...so I guess he ment for US players FT and Stars are the best options and for people from other countries there are better ones...

However...tons of rooms out there and I think its hard work to find the right one!

So thanks for your help everyone...

@jarmop & Lathum: won't do datamining - so it's probably a good thing for me if they close all these accounts...
@Anssi A: I have never heard of ongame before...will check it out. thx

Good day,

I just decided that I would deposit money in order to play poker. I'm really having a lot of trouble finding a good site ( for the long run ). I would like to hear your advice on what poker site to play.

I'm non-US but, some sites don't allow my country to play. (ex. Titan)
I like to play MTT, Small Stakes Cash Games.

Edit/MH: Read the thread, "Pokersite Suggestions".

Hey guys, I've played online poker on/off for about 4-5 years. always on pokerstars, having moderate success.

I've decided to make a semi-serious deposit and I've gone long enough without rakeback, IMO.

I'm looking for a site that meets the following parameters:

1. Rakeback
2. Softish tables
3. Secure, reputable
4. lower limit Heads up cash games
5. decent sized player base
