whats this talk about lots of bots on poker bros at higher stakes one guy was saying.. I Played a round of nl 1000 today and a couple of the guys were talking about a bot on there that his Db said has won 50 grand.
Are the people running poker bros dumb? Think its really a bot and they have let the bot play this long?
I'm stating an opinion on this, and it's only my opinion. I'm quite sure some will disagree, but here it is:
If you were a small club owner that had a high stakes player generating thousands of dollars in rake, would you really care if it was a bot or not? The overwhelming majority of club owners in the app industry (with exception of a few honest ones) are out for one thing...to get players generating rake so they themselves make more money. Pure and simple.
If you're lucky enough to get a few bigger money players, they literally print money for you on this app, as an agent. I've seen the numbers before, and I know what kind of rake I have generated playing mostly 200 plo. It's insane to be honest. Yes, I get rakeback, but I've generated as much as 4-5k a week in rake at times when putting in a ton of volume. So imagine what higher limit players are bringing in. It's a complete cash grab for agents, and it's very unlikely that anything will ever be done about bots on apps or any other site, as we have all seen on numerous occasions.
As a matter of fact, the only time I've heard of agents using bots as an excuse is when Midway Union ripped off a bunch of players and stole their funds, accusing them of botting, when in fact, they were absolutely not.
So, short answer is...nothing will be done about bots, collusion and the general scum that can't resist temptation of a 5 or 6 figure account balance at their disposal.
Again, just my opinion. But, it's also the correct one.
