Could we be soon with licenses and there's been a ruling that it's illegal to offer online poker so that seems to be why some rooms are staying out.

Ahh right, thanks for the linke. Yes, that was just upholding the existing law. There's very likely to be regulated online gaming in the netherlands in the next 18 months. Anyway, sorry for the derail

If they were he'd probably say so. Instead, we've got 'the long story':

But that's ok I guess. And fair. Like what's the point of telling the funds are segregated and the company is located in Malta when in reality you can be robbed just as much as if you were playing on Cereus.

you not think it be a good idea to offer a no deposit promotion for 2+2 members and get the traffic going, let them test your software and help them make their mind up if they wanna stay?

Small no deposit bonus $10 could be valuable to your site in the long run

or like deposit $30 + get a instant $20 in your account to start playing

Just my 2cents

why the hell is Netherlands blocked?

any withdrawl or deposit limits?

Cuz this (from your website) sounds a little bit wierd:

"The amount you may be able to withdraw from your player account may vary depending on your balance and the frequency of your transactions."

Because your government is sketchy and foolish with a potential online poker regulation in the near future?

How about PLO?

It states in the Terms and Conditions that PokerAce is on a Shared Network, but couldn't find what network it's a part of from checking the site. At least if it's there couldn't find it. And the network is offered to "some of the biggest and most reputable Asian bookmakers". The details are kinda vague could you please elaborate?

Why is Taiwan listed as a blocked territory? AFAIK it is not a regulated market and most other poker sites allow Taiwan players. Also, if China is served, why not Taiwan?

Hi 2+2,

Please find below answers to your latest questions:

12. Is there any possibility to play on the Ipad?
It is possible to play on Ipad using a flash browser application called iSwift. Although, note the application is not optimized for this particular browser.

13. Are there any plans to also implement € tables?
Not for now. As we are focusing on Asia at first so having euro tables is not a priority for now. We will prefer to concentrate on other development efforts that we can improve the software features.

14. And am I right to assume that you have to pick one or the other as currency for your account? If so, what exchange rate provider do you use in real time if players buy into tables with the other currency?
Yes, you’re entirely right. When opening a new account, the player is asked to choose his currency. Exchange rates are indeed updated in real time.

15. Do you offer rakeback to your players?
We don’t offer rakeback but cash-backs. Our loyalty program, The Ace Club, is based on very competitive cash-back rewards. The generosity rate of those ones is very valuable compared to other poker rooms that offer this kind of reward.

16. Why should we join PokerAce and not just sign up with a sportsbook, as they have their 'own' tables?
Playing on PokerAce already gives you the possibility to play with sportsbook players on the Mixed tables. Also note that sportsbook customer do not benefit from the same promotions scheme such as first deposit bonus, loyalty program, freerolls.

17. Are player funds segregated?
Player balances and operational funds are separated. As previously said, everything that comes to financial transactions safety and security is major for us as our plan is long term growth. We truly believe that not repeating mistakes that some others have already done is important to reach this objective.

18. Why are The Netherlands and New Zealand blocked?
This is because of regulation possibly coming in these territories. We think it will benefit PokerAce long term not to accept from both jurisdictions.

19. Any deposit limits?
The limits are set by the payments methods. It might vary depending on the method used. But overall, the minimum is $10. Deposit limit is up to what the payment method offers too.

Any withdrawal limits?
The only limit on the PokerAce end is the held funds one: a player should wait 72 hours following his last deposit in order to withdraw his profits from the site. Besides this rule, there is no withdrawal limit except the ones set by the payment methods.
You may have further information regarding the payments methods and their limits on the PokerAce deposit and withdrawal pages.

20. You not think it be a good idea to offer a no deposit promotion for 2+2 members and get the traffic going, let them test your software and help them make their mind up if they wanna stay? Small no deposit bonus $10 could be valuable to your site in the long run. Or like deposit $30 + get an instant $20 in your account to start playing.
We are actually thinking about this kind of promotion for later. But maybe not only restricted to 2+2 members. For sure, you will be the first to know about it if it comes to life.

21. How about PLO?
PLO is one of our priorities in term of incoming new games and features. We are already working on it and we hope this will be released soon.

22. It states in the Terms and Conditions that PokerAce is on a Shared Network. And the network is offered to "some of the biggest and most reputable Asian bookmakers". The details are kinda vague could you please elaborate ?
PokerAce is an online poker network itself. Those Asian bookmakers are Dafabet, IBC Bet and Sun Game. We aim to connect sportsbook and casino customers together with poker, mahjong and Asian card game players from across the Asia region.

23.Why is Taiwan listed as a blocked territory?
Taiwan is a blocked territory because PokerAce servers are based there.

24. ‘Haha bet he wasn't expecting this kind of introduction’
So far, so good .

Thank you for your questions,
John

1. You have to pay ridiculously high rake to play the weaker players from the sportsbook and casino?

2. "We are focusing on the Asian region" and are based in the Philippines yet Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong are not able to play on the site?

3. Team Pros are mostly tournament pros yet the site offers no guaranteed MTTs?

seems legit.

Definetly think you need to slap some guarantees on those mtt's. Me being strictly a mtt player, I definetly wont deposit on a start up site like this where I will never get any mtt action. You guys will lose a bit at the start with the lay over but it will get people in the door such as myself and ultimately help your poker room down the road.

Did you mix up New Zealand with Australia? Because that's the first time I hear about a potential regulation in NZ ...

they have seperated the sportsbook players from the "winning" players. if you want to play with sportsbook players yuu will be paying 9dollar rake.
they then have the nerve to advertise on 2p2 where there are odv a ton of "winning" players. hypocrites imo
