Yeah we're actually being married here in the states and then going to Kauai for a week and Maui for a week. I've been to a ton of tropical locales and on cruises but never been to Hawaii and to be honest it looks nicer than anywhere else I've been. Of course it's my honeymoon as well so that will make it extra special.

Goddammit, now I have to consider buying another monitor, thought I was done with that. Currently tiling 16 on a 30" but 2 30"s flipped seems like it might be worth it, has anyone made this change?

Stack. It's all about staking. Unless you play four tables of course.

ncboiler, we get the point, you can stop posting the same thing over and over.

Also, not to be a jerk, but you don't exactly win money in the games so I'm not sure why you think your opinion on the matter carries much weight.

Would rather have 3 wide screens in a an inverted line with 8 on each, sick setup though.

And **** stacking,

Kauai is the spot where I'm going. I fly into Lihue airport. Hope you have a good time and let us know how it goes and what the attractions of kauai are so I know what to do there.

Yeah we did the same Sect. So far we've gone to the beach a few times which was great, got a massage at the Princeville Spa which was A+, and went to a Luau last night which was average. Open bar though so can't complain too much. Today we're doing a helicopter ride which I'm really looking forward to and then some Ziplining and snorkeling before we head off to Maui next week. I'll post a TR on the rest of the activities later in the week.

Thx a lot. I'm only there for 5 days and 1 day is tied up with a wedding but I am excited about the visit. Please keep me updated and I'm curious.... how did you fit that PC set up in your suitcase?

Sect7G just to update you on the activities..

The helicopter was awesome. We flew around the entire island including the Na Pali (sp) coastline which was gorgeous. Neither my wife or I had ever been in a copter before either which made it that much better. I'd strongly recommend that if you want a really good view of the island. Most of the island is still uninhabited too and you see tons of waterfalls. We went through Safari Helicopters and loved it.

Ziplining was also really fun if you're into outdoor activities or are just a thrillseeker. My wife was scared at first but after the first zipline she was excited for the rest. We also got to swim at a waterfall and had lunch near the end of the tour. The 1200 foot long zipline named King Kong at the end was truly awesome.

Going snorkelling today but I'm sure you've probably done that before so it won't be anything too new or exciting. I've personally gone a bunch of times and really enjoyed it but never in Hawaii so I'll post if anything is especially interesting.

He charges a nominal fee for membership but if you have 24" monitors or larger and enjoy having access to a huge library of high resolution wallpapers it's the way to go. I'd also download UltraMon which is the best program out there for multiple monitors and changing wallpaper.

I agree. I have a 24" monitor and have the lobby on one side and all the tables on the other side and it works great. I don't see the need for multiple monitors either.

TheLife, could you post some decent pictures of your optimus layout? I've been really curious about since back when it was vaporware.

Also, have you tried or considered the perfect chair? That's about the only thing that jumped out at me to improve.

To the trolls who are stacking cheerleaders: NONE of you have addressed his reason for liking tiling: Catching the action in hands you're not playing. It's impossible with stacking.

Subjectively, if he's more comfortable tiling then there's really no good argument for him to switch.

But objectively, there are Human Computer Interaction reasons and anecdotal evidence that makes tiling far superior to stacking absent any ergonomic or budgetary reasons to make you choose comfort/money over the huge cognitive benefit.

I agree that with stacking you miss a lot of action but not all of it.

TableNinja has a hotkey to move the table from the stack to anywhere on your screen, then you press the hotkey and it returns to the stack.

The other way to catch big hands is with the HEM handhistory that displays the last 3 hands on each table. If you see a big pot you can check it out.
