Pocketfives "Offers" = Scam? [Resolved] Pocketfives "Offers" = Scam? [Resolved]

Certainly seems that way.

Would like to give other people heads up that if a P5s offer seems to good to be true, it probably is and you'll get nothing once you rake the amount.

Meet rake requirements 16th December, support took a while to respond but then said they would send out the headphones 5th Jan but never did, and support now not responding:

to me
(My Name),

I apologize for my delayed response. A combination of the holidays and having issues with PokerStars tournament results feed means I've not had the time to get back to you. I will order the headphones for you Friday and send you a link showing you this order.

Thank you for your patience.

to P5s

Hi,
Any updates regarding this?
Thanks,
(Me)

tldr: don't do P5s rake for reward email deals.

Seems unlikely to me, or at least I hope so. P5s may be our biggest "rival" English speaking poker forum, but I've always understood them to be honest.

2+2er WackyJaxon is an admin there; I've sent him a PM and linked him to this thread.

Hi - I will ask Kevmath to look into this as I am no longer working at PocketFives. I am still an Admin there but this is beyond my scope as a volunteer. I do say that in all my years at PocketFives that they are very honest and if there is a misunderstanding it should be made right.

Pocketfives has a huge amount of credibility in the online poker community. I suggest being patient here - if what you say is true, it seems much more likely to be an oversight or mistake, rather than a deliberate effort to defraud you into playing online poker (where they don't even get your cash directly).

P5s is legit. Just PM a mod and they will sort it out.
