There are reliable folks here. There are also scammers, so be very cautious.

Before you transfer any funds to anybody, do this!

I suggest that you pay special attention to the first post in this thread, and acquaint yourself with the names of people on the most recent alleged scammers list.

Thanks to Mike Haven, who alerted me to this message in the transfers thread. There is a scammer who is apparently using my 2+2 name - 'magiowins' on FTP. I have no idea who this is, but it's certainly not me.

Many readers of this forum will recall that I have posted many times, indicating that I would never, ever open an account on FTP due to their unacceptable lack of respect for their customers. My opinion has not changed. By the way, while the topic is open, let me encourage all of you to insist on higher standards from the companies that you do business with.

Anyway, please avoid this scammer (magiowins on FTP); and while you're at it, let me encourage you to please avoid FTP. If we all insisted on dealing with nothing but ethical companies, then we would have more ethical companies to choose from.

Was contacted by user Poker-Is-Life and I saw he had 2 posts. I asked for references to which he replied,

"I have traded with mutilple people from AP and FT. New to forums, and I joined to trade from site to site. Also I think trading with you would gain me more respect, and put me one step further to being known as a reputable poster."

I then said since he doesn't have references and I do that I would need him to send first to which he replied,

"Hi, I am sorry but I don't think I can send first. After I get used to this forum thing, I might be more comfortable."


Just a heads up to be careful with him. Just seemed fishy.

Hi all, he left out the part where I told him I had refernces but I wasn't sure if they are on two plus two. I said that right after he asked about refernces, so when he put it down he made it looked like I tried to get away with the reference thing. So thanks for making me look bad.
