APPARENTLY my full tilt name was somehow connected to a scammer. My tilt account was indeed compromised at one point awhile back and I had to fax in ID to get it fixed. Perhaps that is what happened.

I offered email to the banned member in case he cared to appeal his ban.

I IM'd d0nk3y as a probe. If he offered his account names, I would have researched them, then posted anything relevant.

I was hoping to keep the AIM name away from the public eye because I was occasionally able to glean a nugget or two from some of the duller scammers.

If posting them here has served their purpose and MH deems it proper, his removal of them by edit would be appreciated.

Actually he said YOU posting as Camel1111 were accused of scamming on this forum. I'm not sure how this was determined. Whether or not it was determined because that poster used the same FTP name you are using now or whether or not the IP of Camel1111 matches the IP of the one that signed up for the account you have now.

If your IP matches the one from Camel1111 then you really have no case.

Also keep in mind I've always used the word "allegedly". This is important as I've never said you ARE a scammer; however, with what has been presented as evidence by you that you are not (zero) compared to what has been presented as evidence that you are (being on alleged scammer lists, Mike Haven saying you posted under a name that is linked to an alleged scammer) I think you can understand why some people may want to move forward with caution when dealing with you.
