how does this pmarssouth guy keep screwing ppl...how are his account(s) not locked by now on stars and ftp and w/e else site?

I want a prize. Either that or someone could maybe trade some of my FT for some of their Stars at 0% vig since FT is now sending checks as fast as Stars does. Still have around $750 on FT.

thomamon, when i was scammed like a while back...like prolly almost a year ago...i emailed stars support and gave them the name and story of what happened, and they said they would look into it...they then said that the funds had been lost already...which is probably what he would do is either transfer or chip dump...but idk, they may be able to help you out...or at least they'll probably close his account...maybe try that

i imagine he uses multiple accounts... if he used the same ones im sure his p2p xfer abilities would be suspended by now.

also the official line for stars and tilt is that they dont involve themselves in xfer disputes because they cant prove that the other guy didnt send. ie, what would stop me from saying "i sent elstunar stars. but he never sent me tilt in return" just bc i wanted to screw you over for some reaosn.

It seems AIM wouldn't want criminals impersonating others, could a bunch of AIM users get him banned there?

Worth a shot, i guess. Maybe if pmarr and one of the forum moderators emailed them and said this guy is impersonating someone to try to steal money, they might close the account.

But its a free service, so i imagine the security isnt top notch or that ocncerned with responding to abuse complaints.

So in other words, if one can get away with scamming someone there is no penalty for him to pay.

You can say "harryjones123, on PS" or you can say 'larrysmith321 on FTP', and of course, a lot of people will note that account. I fear that you will not note that account. But a few of us will.

Please do not say 'and he promised to send from abominable on ftp'. He was never going to send, was he? That account name is useless. But somebody GOT the money. What used to be your money. Where did the forkin' money GO? To what specific account? That information we can actually use.

We (the regulars, who try to keep everybody in line) will then say, loudly, to everyone who will listen, YOU REALLY OUGHT TO MAKE EVERY TRADER DISCLOSE, PUBLICLY, EACH ACCOUNT TO BE USED IN THE TRADE. Some traders will do this. Some traders will not.

After each account gets disclosed, who is going to Google the account names? Me? Or you? One of us really should do that. And, come to think of it, I'm not sending any money to that account. So maybe it should be you.

If there is some method, some code word, that would make a new person here actually read that post, before he starts sending money here or there, please tell me how to get that accomplished.
