I used to be a lurker here and about 2-3 months ago I saw the then Vegas_Vip was asking for a transfer. He posted his aim, and I contacted him. He scammed me out of Nearly 250.00. The reason I say they are the same person is because the scamming style is similiar.

It always starts out with him asking you to send a nominal amount first, usually 25 percent of the total transfer. He then says he will send double that after he gets yours. AChustler's style was exactly the same.

$1000.00 transfer... Send me $250, then I send $500, then u send $250, then I send $600. There would always be a high vig involved as well. He is a unique scammer in that he promises both high vig as well as a decent chunk after you send just a small amount first.

I sent Mike Haven these details as well.

Can we setup this thread where all the posts HAVE to be transfer related.. everything involved in the discussion of the ethics of charging a fee, etc is REALLY cluttering this thread.. it makes it hard for people to use this thread esp if they are unfamiliar .. Mike can you please set up another thread for discussion?

IMO, your evidence is strong, but your conclusion is conjecture at best. If you have additional evidence, please let us know.

Since this is a message board, and not face to face conversation, the subtleties of our language are much harder to convey. I realise that my tone could be interpreted as uncaring. I want you to know that my intent is to be opposite of that.

This thread could use another set of skeptical eyes. Your recent invovlement here, and the nature of your posts lead me to believe that you may be interested in helping.

If that is true, I hope that you don't mind me suggesting a modification to your approach.

Please don't be so hasty with your conclusions. Post what you know, and let others reach their own conclusion.

It must be a nightmare for a newcomer to try and sift through all the threads to find just the right partner.

On the other hand, as the veterans here can attest, some scammers are exposed before they can ply their handiwork.

I would like to see a locked sticky, wherin is contained the latest version of the scammers list, and a primer on scam free trading.

I don't think it's a joke at all. People are willing to pay a premium for a reliable way to transfer their money (within reason). We kind of got spoiled because the poker sites paid all of the Neteller fees, but I think most of us would be willing to pay a small fee (around 3% - 5%) for fast, reliable transfers.

If there is a good, reliable replacement for Neteller then please do share.

EDIT: I'm not talking about moving large sums of money here. I'm talking about depositing a quick $100 - $1,000 when you are in a pinch.

Also, I am currently looking to get some money on stars. Please reply or PM me (I will look at your history so only reliable posters need apply).

Unfortunately, we don't have a feedback/rating system here like auction sites do, so that makes it a little harder to judge how reliable everyone is.
