Scammed by member pkrblog, it's been over a day now. I posted looking for a $450 swap, he said he could do it, I sent $25 first, he sends irate messages asking why I did not send the whole thing at once and that the deal was $450 for $450, I asked for my $25 back on either site, it's been over 24 hours now.

What are your FTP and Stars names, Pitmaster? Please post here or PM me. Thank you.

At the end of the day, 2p2 doesn't even need to allow this type of thread at all, so I see no reason why -- if they're going to choose to allow it -- they can't set a few ground rules that will significantly reduce the prevalence of reported scams. It looks terrible when 75% of posts in the thread are about alleged scammers rather than legitimate transfer requests.

Also, I've heard that PokerStars has a cashier at their tournaments, but is this true of Party as well?

I tried to transfer 200 bucks to The Truth. I called the toll free # and the operater told me that WPEX does not allow transfers between poker players. Just posting this so others know that WPEX won't do transfers.

I'm hoping this is me being paranoid, but after talking to his reference after the fact (which turned out to be fake) I believe docccjr is a scammer. We agreed via PMs to trade $210 of my AP for $200 of his Stars. I got his name, phone number, e-mail, not sure if any are real since he claimed to live in Norway, which now that this has had time to sink in, is a pretty good way of getting people to not call you.

I'd like to hear from you soon if this is not a scam. I have plenty of evidence that the transfer was made on my end. To MH: how much of his info am I allowed to post here to get others to avoid him?

The reference he gave me was scorer, who I talked to via PM, AOL Instant Messenger, and on the phone. Scorer said he didn't know who he was, nor had he traded with him in the past, which is why I'm starting to become suspicious.
