I think i did, teddy. Other than a public posting of the accounts involved, (which I think should be done in every trade), I told the guy 'see you over in PM". Is that sufficient?

And there may be some reason. It might even be a mistake? My point, to Teddy, is that account names ought to be publicly posted, so everybody can see them. And comment on them. And warn some newbies, if needed.

But do, please, tell me why your name appears on that list. And why it is your postion that publicly listing accounts (so that people can check those names against the various lists) is a bad thing, and that trading ought to be done in the dark?

The scammer laundered money through me. He wanted to do a 100 swap FTP for UB, and he scammed someone else, having them send the 100 DIRECTLY to my FTP account.

I'll be the first to admit, I did not check it out. I have no opinion on that trade, or any other trade. I did not accuse you of being a scammer. I said that your name was on the list. I don't maintain that list. But I do know your name is there, and I check it, that list, before every trade. I also check three other lists.

I do know that there is more, which I have not checked out. There is a thread involving 'militate', which I gather is you, on FTP. I won't post the thread here, as I haven't checked all of that out yet. Anybody can find it, with the 'search' command.

My point: trading accounts ought to be listed PUBLICLY. Before you trade. Those account names ought to be 'searched' by the potential traders.

Teddy's point, as I gather it, is too many messages ('you got it?' , 'hey, i got it' , 'you get this next one' , 'I got the next one') messages clutter up this thread. He's right.

I've tried to adjust, and have just the potential acceptance, and the account names, publicly posted. Everything else can be moved to PM (PM in the FORUM, not PM on some messaging service like AIM, ICQ, or MSM).

If I'm doing it wrong, tell me how to do it right.

People have the right to keep their screen names private from their 2p2 names. Especially HSNL'ers, players like myself who play 10/20 and higher and really don't have the luxury of a large player base at our limits. Often we play with the same regulars.

Yes you're doing it wrong. Post in the thread that you want a transfer if you do. If you see someone who wants a transfer, don't even respond to their post. PM them. And let people know you've done a successful trade by posting again. It's pretty simple, and keeps the forum free of clutter.

I'm not going to bother getting my name off that list, I don't really care. Most 2p2'ers know I'm legit and I haven't had to send first in any transfer for months.

if i see a trade i'm interested in with Y i will pm him saying 'hi, aim me on xxxxx'. then when i get msged 5 mins later i know it is him, not some third party scammer Z who saw me post in the thread that i was interested. i dunno, common sense!

Made a 2-part trade with catalyst for $5000 - $1500 and $3500 transfers. Stars held us up a while but everything went smoothly on our ends.

Just wanted to note here i did a transfer with Final_Countdown, and he is legit, i did send him 2k first and while i was afraid of being scammed he sended me the money right away.It went very smoothly, and i even got an extra 10% .Your a nice guy btw good talking to you on msn.
