Mike is doing the right thing, when people are dumb and allow themselves to get scammed, it gives this thread a bad reputation. Mike is trying to prevent loss as much as possible. I commend him for that.
Yes, I give Mike mad props. He shows his dedication as a moderator in these threads by actively posting about potential scammers in order to protect people that perhaps may be unaware of how these scammers operate themselves. He is just giving his opinion from experience and you may not agree with him, but he's doing his best to watch out for the community. And has done a pretty damn good job of regulating this thread and preventing the scammers from ruining the integrity of this place.
He worked with me and resolved some confusion about my post and a conflict I had with regards to multiaccounting, and thus, I am good to go now even though I'm considered a 'noob'. He doesn't necessarily write new people off as scammers, and I think that's a common misconception that many people have in this thread. It's how you approach the situation. After speaking with him, we were able to work things out, and now I don't feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick because I'm a noob, and I very much appreciate that he just doesn't jump to conclusions about new accounts with low post counts. So don't get frustrated if you're a noob here and no one will trade with you thinking you are a scammer. You just have to prove yourself and fully disclose any information necessary (even if you may not want to) in order to show that you truly are a legitimate player looking to make transfers.
