not to mention everything about this proposal (first post, no poker sites/screen names shared) stinks in general. looking at the OP I can't see anything that specifically says this type of transaction isn't allowed, but that might change soon.

better question would be why didn't you do simple search of his name? there are many suggestions to stay away, including a mention on the 2+2 Alleged Scammers List.

Sorry that having this thread/site exist and constant paroling of it to stay on top of the endless crime wave it draws isn't courtesy enough for you. I guess we need to monitor your PM's and poker accounts too?

how about you do THE BARE MINIMUM to keep yourself safe when nobody is there to hold your hand?

DANNNNNGG mark why u gotta bust my chops? i researched her on OPR and it looked legit...when she didnt ship i DID check posts and saw her on a different name. it was only ten bucks...just saying, trying to stop anyone else from trading with her/him/it. cut a brutha some slack!! and that other guy that you r gettin on me about. he shipped ten bucks first...then we went up from there.

those are a few that I notice with alarming frequency. not all of them mean they're necessarily "scammers," but just fairly dumb, and dumb people make dumb trades. when trading with someone who is "transfer-challenged," you run the risk of getting some bad funds they've received themselves.

if you're not sure about someone just don't do it, imo. the only reason someone really needs to trade money right now is if they play for a living and there's something important going on. but here's the thing - if you play for a living and it's truly important, you've got a way to move funds and/or FRIENDS that you know and trust to help you.
use the resources available to you and feel free to ask questions.

This is important. I almost got scammed. However I seen red flags the whole way, I did exchange about 3-4 PM's, then I finally decided to check his name against the scammer list and sure enough he was on there.

I was like I guess that why OP / thread title says read OP or YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. It is true. I got the mods involved and they offered to escrow but villain wasn't willing obviously.

Luckily I read through and followed the OP about checking scammers list. fwiw I ended up getting money switched over but not from 2p2.
