All i can say about my situation yesterday is that thank god it happened on stars. Who knows who far up [censored] creek i'd be if this was full tilt support dealing with it. Stars fraud department is currently investigating, which is awesome because i really thought it would just get blown off based on the simple fact that a 2p2 community forum screen name was hi-jacked and nothing on their site was actually compromised. Playing the waiting game now.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I got scammed on another forum this week and was told that it would be investigated. 24 hours later the conclusion of the investigation was that:

1. My account was logged in from my normal IP address, hence the $215 transfer originated from me.
2. As stated in the transfer window, PokerStars does not get involved in disputes over transfers.
3. We apologize that we can't help more, here's $11T to play in the new Sunday 100K.

bit of an odd request but thought i might as well post it.

i have $215.78 rakeback for june due on the 23rd this month coming into my FTP account.

i currently have no money in my FTP account due to cashing out and wish to play again this month so i thought i might try selling my rakeback for this month.

im willing to trade my rakeback $215.78 due on 23rd for $180 on FTP, taking into account i would need the money sent to me via FTP and then when my rakeback comes in on the 23rd i'd sent the $215.78 to your FTP account.

^^another support for kyleb's assertion, i tried a transaction with a 2p2er and ftp rejected it over ridiculous reasons, such as incomplete mailing address, they messaged me back a couple days later apologizing, but this is actually the 2nd time this has happened and my address was not a problem at any time, ugh with ftp support...
