I've been playing poker since 2013. I signed up for Everygame (Intertops) using the link from the Vip Grinders portal. On 01/24/2024, he took second place and won $19.50 in the Exclusive 100 VG Freeroll. I spent the funds at the casino and brought them up to $ 10391.33.
Starting March 1, 2024, according to an email from Every game, the account will be closed (due to the country of residence). I verified the account. I requested a withdrawal of $ 2500 on 02/29/2024. This amount was transferred to me. I sent an email requesting the withdrawal of the remaining amount from 02/29/2024 (since the weekly withdrawal limit is $ 2500). Then there was a lull and silence on my requests to withdraw the rest of the amount. In the support chat, I was assured that access to the cash register would be possible to withdraw funds:
an excerpt from a conversation with the support service
«Jamie
You're still free to make your withdrawal. You won't be allowed to play after March first.»
«Me
So after March 1, withdrawal of funds will be possible?»
«Raedi
I am seeing that you were advised yesterday via email that you will be updated in 24-48 business hours in regards to this.»
«Me
I understand, just in case, I will send you an e-mail with a withdrawal request before March 1, OK?»
«Raedi
To withdraw you just have to go to the cashier and request it.»
«Me
Will access to the client be blocked like yesterday?»
«Raedi
You should be able to access the cashier to request a withdrawal.»
When I subsequently contacted the support service, I was accused of violating the terms of participation in the Exclusive 100 VG Freeroll freeroll tournament on 01/24/2024:
excerpt from a conversation with the support service
«Kat
After further review of your account, Management has made the decision to confiscate the remaining balance due to breaching our terms with playing with a freeroll tournament».
I did not violate the terms of participation in the freeroll tournament. I am registered from the VipGrinders portal and I received the password in the telegram channel of this portal legally.
Further, the support service reported that your terms were violated:
«50% of all Freeroll cash winnings have to be turned over as gross rake, before a player is eligible to withdraw any funds».
Due to the decision of the management of the room, the account will be closed from March 1, 2024 (due to the country of residence). By my decision, I was not given the opportunity to win back 50% of $19.50 as a rake.
Therefore, I did not violate the conditions of participation in the freeroll tournament. Based on this accusation, funds were confiscated from my account in the amount of $7891.33.
I ask for advice and help!
Sincerely Sword_s

What country are you based in? They have, indeed , that requirement to play 50% of the winnings before a withdrawal can be made, but I think it is an angle shooting in your case. I am a long-time player there and never had issues with withdrawals. But they tent to be very strict in verifications and things like that. They have a representative on this forum so check with him maybe can help.

Thank you, I have sent a letter of complaint to Everygame at the moment. I'm waiting for an answer.

I also sent a copy of the letter to the affiliate portal

Id see if if I could find an attorney. Any judge would see this is a cash grab and so unnecessary. They should lose their license. This is blatant theft

If a casino can take your money when you lose; they can pay you when you win.

Very upsetting to hear.

Thank you, but so far I have been answered in response to my claim:

"The freeroll winnings were not turned over as per the Terms & Conditions pertaining to freerolls.
https://poker.everygame.eu/terms-and-conditions
50% of all Freeroll cash winnings have to be turned over as gross rake, before a player is eligible to withdraw any funds.
The decision to grant the withdrawal request of $2500 was made as an exception.
Should you require any further information or assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime."

I will send a letter to the licensing department, we will see the response from them

So if you go and rake $9.75 at poker, will they let you withdraw?

Unfortunately, the account is blocked (due to the country of residence) according to the decision of the Management of the Room on 02/28/2024 instead of the one indicated in the message 1.03.2024, and they will not allow you to play, at the moment I am working on this incident.
The player is very vulnerable, because the "Room has made a decision" - we do what we want

Well, as you are reluctant to give the full story most likely there is more there than you inform the community . Everygame is a respectable site and never had issues with them.

The whole story is at the beginning of the topic, I see no point in hiding, and persistent curiosity about the country of residence is not relevant in this case. Problems appear in certain situations, like in this one.

Well if his country was not allowed to play, why did they not lock his account right to beginn with/let him sign up? Why did they decide to let him cashout 2500 but not the rest?

Looks indeed pretty shady.

They are like: "hmm actually we dont want any huge winners here who came basically from scratch...so now ur country is not eligible to play anymore (we obv let inegible countrys signup just for the lolz. They can rake a bit 4 us untill they want to withdraw any money hehe)...We will now give u part of the money and u dont make a big thing out of it and never play here again, ok? Like this it is fair for us both."

The told him he violated their terms by participating in a freeroll tournament? Are they for real? This is straight up stealing imo.

- noone can violate any terms by playing in a freeroll. If they are not happy with the rake produced from freeroll winnings they can tell him this and he has to playthrough before trying to withdraw

-countrys who are not eligible to play should never be able to signup and deposit

.

The situation is simple, I have been registered in the room for a long time, did not make deposits, played in freerolls only once a week, took second place in one of them, spent money in the casino, and from 19.50 caught a wave, raised it to 10 thousand, to a poker account 0, in a casino 10k, it is impossible to transfer, since the restriction is no deposit, an email has arrived - the account is being closed, I verified the account, requested a withdrawal of funds from the casino account, 2500 were withdrawn, then only promises, as a result they found "I am a violator".

You should say thank you for $2,500! You most likely are from Germany or another country that cannot play there anymore. You did not make 50% Rake for the amount won at free roll which is stipulated in their terms for money won from freerolls or free tickets, you did not deposit, most likely you verified the account after you won so you only tried to get the advantages from the site without make money to them.

By their decision, they close the account, not me! According to the support service, a deposit was not required (screenshots of the conversation with the support service are available), when verified it does not matter. We want to pay, we don't want to. I didn't expect this from the room.
In any case, I will seek payment.
