Hello all, I'm finally making a thread here because I don't know where to turn.

I made an account on partypoker when I was 17. I was underaged. I deposited $50 and lost, and never played again. Fast forward half a decade, where I want to gamble again. I signed up for an account but my email was already in use. I recovered my old account and started playing.

Now, in chronological order:
-I deposit using those $200 Vanilla MasterCards. I lose around $1,000 over the course of a few months.
-I deposit $100 via Vanilla MasterCard and turn it into $1,200. I'm finally up a little on the site. I decide to cash out, and enter in all of my bank details.
-I get an email from PartyPoker saying my account is permanently closed as I was underage when I made it. I honestly had no idea and told them my story. They said it was fine, they believed it was an honest mistake. They told me to make a new account, and send them my bank details to receive my funds.
-I sent them all my bank details, and make a new account. At the end of the email I tell them that they can just transfer my funds to my new account if that is easier. They reply back to me that they could have put my funds on my new account, but my refund was already processed. Cool.

I wait around 10 days, and contact them to say I haven't received anything in my bank yet. I think e-checks is 3-5 business days. They say no money was going to my bank, they refunded the MasterCards I had deposited with.

At this point I am mild annoyed. I tell them prepaid mastercards are not reloadable. I deposit once and throw them out. I do not keep them. They said they refunded entire balance to these cards, it's not their problem.

It did not make sense to me, because I deposited with $1,100 worth of cards how did they refund a full $1,200 to these cards? They're not reloadable.

They reassure me it will be fine. They tell me to contact MasterCard with ARN numbers that they will provide me, and Mastercard will locate my funds and refund me. Okay, again I am mild annoyed but at least I get my funds.

Where it gets

I contact Mastercard with 6 ARN numbers Party provide me with. Mastercard says they can not do anything on their end with an ARN number. I talked to three representatives and they all said they haven't even heard of them, they don't use them on their end. For cards connected to a bank they do, but not with prepaid ones.

Okay, this is a problem. I contact party with this information. Mastercard says they need the 16 digits on front of the card, or a 16 digit serial number on the back of the card to help me at all.

I contact party, and they say it is their fault and that they are sorry, they made a mistake. They said they will contact payment services team and get them to contact me.

What does the team say? They tell me to contact mastercard. I contact mastercard, and its the same response as last time. I contact party and tell them the exact same thing I'm typing here now. They say they will forward it to payment services team.

Wanna know what the email said? "Thank you for contacting us, here are the 6 ARN numbers, now contact mastercard."

At this point I am furious trying not to lose my temper. I ask them why the **** did you ask for my bank details if you were just going to refund a bunch of mastercards I deposited with?

Don't worry, they'll forward it to the payment services team. At this point it has been months where they have been sending me on this circle. Party chat says I can not talk to anyone higher up on the phone, and I can under no circumstances talk to the Payment Services team helping my case. They have been sending me on this runaround for MONTHS!! At this point I am fed up, I feel like I got ****ed. I have been 'forwarded' to the payment services team four or five times now, and every response is the exact same, telling me to contact mastercard. I have been on phone with mastercard nearly a dozen times trying to fix this but they legitimately can't do anything on their end they say. I got ****ed out of $1,200 because of their mistake and they won't do anything at all to help me.

Has anyone been in this situation before? apologies for language

Oh heres the kicker. They offered me $20 free casino play, and I only have to wager $1,000 on slots to cash it out. That made me livid I feel like its an insult. I obviously declined that stupid offer.

just ask them if they like the idea of you contacting UK Gambling commission about issue they let underage create the account and gamble thousands. i think your money will be on your bank account in days

Would regulators or commission care about a matter so small? I feel like its such a weird situation, ugh.

Its not a ton of money but its not insignificant either.

OP wouldn't normally have PM privileges for a little while, so I've enabled them hoping it might help speed up a resolution.

This situation sucks. Man, the run around can be really frustrating and if it is there fault, which it appears to be, their stance is indefensible. Glad the Party rep is here and I am assuming this will get settled, but the frustration you have gone through is super stressful and unnecesary. GL!

i said account was created when underage. not that he gambled thousands underage. but your answer is so typical for party representative. you forgot to quote the part about recovering old account. so you let someone who already break your rules to play on account which should never been created in the first place.

No- your badly written post read as if he both created an account underage and gambled thousands while underage. (Otherwise what was the point of your post?) It’s a little confusing though as either you’re not a native English speaker or you just have poor grammar. Either way, he also did not gamble “thousands” as you state. Before turning a small profit, he had only lost hundreds (ONE thousand, to be a little more precise.)

you are right. i am not native speaker and also my english is at elementary school level. i am aware of that.

point of my post was that the account was created under condition when it shouldnt be allowed to play for real money at all. regarding the gamble: from where i come gamble is not equal to lose. i understand it as to bet some value with uncertain result. you can be BE for whole year, but your bets/gamble could be in millions.

I had a similar situation (not that I broke any rules, but that Party owed me a refund for something that was a problem on their end.)

They kept giving me excuses until I threatened to call gaming months later. Within a couple days I was refunded.

(FWIW I heard they were moving in a better direction with the newer rep and some other stuff, so hopefully that's true, just sharing that this doesn't seem at all unusual to me.)

Hey guys thanks for updating my PM permission but it still wont let me message party rep.

Partypoker just got back to me for the 5th time saying they gave me ARN numbers, contact Mastercard with them to get my funds. I called Mastercard even though I knew the answer, and they said the same thing as before. They can not do anything on their end for prepaid Mastercards. ARN numbers are irrelevant for them.

**** them, I contacted ECOGRA and the UK Gambling Commission. I don't even care about my funds anymore, this is so draining. It's like pulling teeth dealing with their customer support. I literally don't care about the funds I just hope the commission can do something at this point. Partypoker ****ed me over for $1,200 and I'm going to post about it everywhere and leave it at that.

What does this mean, exactly?

Go to one of Party_Rep's posts in this thread. If you click on their name, a drop down menu should appear. One of the options (probably 2nd on the list) should be "Send a private message to Party_Rep". Choose that, and a "Send New Private Message" page should open up. Type in your Title and Message, and then press "Submit Message", and you're done!

If this fails at some step, please LMK what happens.

To update:

Issue has been resolved. Partypoker had me running in circles for just over three and a half months.

I made a formal complaint with eCOGRA including all my emails and live chat sessions with party poker. I then got my funds in ~6 days. I'd encourage anyone having similar problems to just make a complaint with eCOGRA, they made it way easier than I thought it would be. Screw partypoker, they're not getting my business again.

good resolution, sucks you had to work so hard.

OK Party If U.S gambling ever gets regulated I got this thread in mind.You should of just paid the man the money you Owed him.

I made an account like 12 years ago with Party, I was 18 I think, and this has had me hesitant to create an account over though even though I'm 29.
