He tried to scam my friend earlier and now he's trying the same thing with me.

He will keep delaying the trade hoping that you send first, then he will pretend he cant figure out how zelle or venmo works.

Beware of OG-hipster. We tried to trade this am. I sent first, took him over an hour to finally send it back because he couldnt figure out venmo. I have a feeling he was using my cash i sent him to score quick and just send my money back.

Update: it was an honest mistake and OG-hipster is not a scammer. Just had a mix up with his Zelle account and Venmo. All is good.

no - only can transfer within the same skin (acr to acr, bcp to bcp, etc)

It wasn't scammy, I just haven't played online since Black Friday and was looking to play some micros for the first time in years. Old account with plenty of references.

I was just ignorant to what Ignition offered, I figured if bovada offered xfers ignition would too.

Bovada doesn't either and I don't believe they ever did. Perhaps Bodog did at one point long ago. I can't remember.

@MJunior. I see you had a trade with RonDurante. One hour ago I traded with RonDurante. I sent 297$ of BTC to his wallet. I have received nothing. I spoke with Stars support and they said all transfers are instant. Ron told me 15 minutes to an hour. I see he's been a member of this forum a long time and I want to trust him. Did you trade with him with no issue? How long did it take? I know it is possible I did not get scammed and I will still get my $$$ on Stars, but it's not looking good.

If I get the $$$ this post will be edited/removed, as to not tarnish his name.

Do you have any other means of contact info for him e.g. phone # or any suggestions if I don't get my money? Do you vouche for him?

I got an issue with my balance on americascardroom. I cannot withdraw my balance because i did not reach the 10% rake.
So my idea is to transfer the money via the person to person thread.
Now i got some questions:
Can i trade this balance by the player to player transfer or will the balance be inaccessible for the trade partner?
Can i trade as a new user?

Maybe any other suggestions to withdraw my ACR balance?

Why do you say this? I very nearly just sent $750 ACR to him until he said was a fairly known streamer and my google search yielded nothing but a weird POf page.

make sure the people you are talking to via 2+2 PM are the same people you are talking to on skype (or wherever else)! scammers monitor these threads and as soon as someone posts about a swap the scammers will often imitate that person and attempt to scam other people from the thread.

once you give your skype name out to someone, chances are that that skype name will get passed around and many different scammers (or the same one on multiple accounts) will have a crack at you.

do not assume someone is person X just because he says he is! make sure you verify in multiple ways.

Randomly msg'd me. I believe they got my skype ID from 2p2, i made some posts in HSNL trade thread and gave out my skype ID to a few people. I cannot confirm 100% which 2p2 account is the scammer because of this, but this is the interaction anyway. His Screenname at the time was Leo Messi, however they always changing the Screennames on Skype.




I check and yes the money is in my pokerstars account

I believe these 5 accounts are all the same type of scam. I emailed pokerstars to investigate those 4 last accounts, they said they will look into it but obv never tell me what the results are.

These scammers are quite clever, they will refresh your 2p2 profile to see when you are viewing private messages, then immediately send you a PM on skype with screenname impersonating who they think just PM you on 2p2. They will constantly change their screennames on skype impersonating 2p2 users.

and note how many different backers came forward saying he scammed them also. Be careful if dealing with this person. I will say the Skrill money he sent me after he scammed me never bounced or anything like that, but I'd definitely never deal with him again in any way.
