Yes. They are banned and their new accounts are banned when they come to light.

It's up to the scammees to inform the relevant sites. The sites may not take action on the first reports, but I like to hope that they don't want scammers as customers, and that they ban them once the evidence builds up.

Thanks Mike. I actually reached out to Venmo and they froze his account.. or they said they did at least. But I also took it one step further and filed a police report and reported what happened to the Internet Crime Complaint Center, an agency that is a partner with the FBI.

You should also inform ACR, giving as much evidence as you can - screenshots and/or links that show the trade was agreed by you both.

Turns out the user AmeXCetuRioN had nothing to do with this. He was simply trying to give me a heads up about the shadyness of the guy who scammed me.

Bovada also does not have p2p transfers. You can only deposit onto Bovada.

PayPal is also not allowed ITT.

I notice people are asking for trades that involve Intertops. I have Intertops and I would like to trade some in for cash or equivalent or ACR but I see no p2p transfer option on that site. Is it accomplished by purchasing someone's gold card that might be worth a few pennies on the Exchange, but you pay the trader an amount equal to the agreed upon price?

ask live chat to enable transfers for you, and they may do it depending on how active of a player you are (ie rake paid)

Hi. I had a few questions about person to person trading but didn't know where to ask exactly, trying not to commit any infractions. I have amazon store card, so I can purchase amazon ecards/ gcs. I just don't know how it works exactly, if I purchase an ecard that I want to trade do I sent it to my email first when I purchase it or do I wait till I have the traders email, and send it directly to them? Also is it legal to pm regular traders/mods if I have questions? Thanks

It depends on what the person you're trading with asks. Most people just want the code and they redeem it.

Newer members may not get as many trades with Amazon gift cards considering the fact that they are reversible.

Bank of America / Bitcoin will yield you a better rate and get you more options of people to trade with.

depending on where you live there should be some websites where you can buy btc directly - they might take neteller/skrill/etc

the hsnl xfer thread is probably the best spot on 2+2 for those other trades, but right now you'd have to build up your rep/history before you can post in there
