Quick question about Greendot Moneypaks...
I went to Wal-Mart the other day and asked where the green dots were, and was informed they are not allowed to sell them in Vermont. They didn't know why. I went to the Greendot website to check it out, and indeed, VT is not available as an option for your state when you're creating an account.
Anyone know why? I looked around on google but failed to find any discussion about it or any legislation or whatever.
OTOH, I signed up for Netspend and so far so good, getting a card in the mail and we'll see if I can load it.

The point is that you're a losing micro-stakes player and you want to trade $10K. He was saying be very cautious, which is good advice.

On another note, it's pretty clear that you are the loser here, and your parents clearly weren't involved in raising you. If they were, I feel sorry for you.

Don't really want to get into this but RW has been a dedicated mod that has prevented many scams here and if it wasn't for mods like him, this thread wouldn't still be here in the first place (for someone to make cake profits or do any trading.)

Since he has seen many scams and if your account happens to raise some flags, then it is not unreasonable for him to alert people to do reasearch before trading.

I'd say just arrange a private teamviewer session with RW, MH, D.S. or one of the mods and they can confirm your deposits and if all their questions are sufficiently answered then you can trade smoothly.

Obviously, no one has to teamview their accounts but if you want to do trades (and have nothing to hide) and if that can answer all the '$10k deposit' questions (which it may not), then you can continue trading smoothly in this thread. At the rate you're going, you'll end up getting banned eventually.

Just a suggestion, pm a mod and work out a resolution to what would be acceptable proof.

I understand completely and I do offer anyone a TV view before we trade, I prefer this method also, along with a skype chat and or aim.

But on a lighter note who would be as stupid as to give out screen names, and offer trades in such a public spot online, I use the same screen name for everything, all my forums ect. who would honestly come in here and ripped someone off and risk jail?

My experience with RW is that he is only trying to look out for the best interests of this forum's reputable traders. He has gone out of his way to help me in the past and has generously shared his time and insights. If RW sees something that looks fishy, he is going to post it on the forum. Just like you would have to post side-effects for prescription drug. It may not apply to you, but it is information that everyone needs to know, because it could indicate that there is a problem. RW's job is to regulate this forum and make it a safe place for members to conduct business. I think he does his job extremely well.

just to let u guys know icallsick1 didnt response my pm where i offered him a 2k/1.5k to his favour for a cake/stars trade. i posted twice itt and asked him to sending first, he never replies, so just be cautions!

P.S. Also got a warning-PM, to not going first if i should trade with him, from an mod.

Why is iCallSlick now banned? I'm sure there is a reason, but I see a successful trade above involving him and it was confirmed ITT. I have seen the caution raised against him, but for my records I would like to know why he is now banned.

I called netspend to ask about reload packs and was told that you can only purchase them in Austin Texas. I know you can bring your card to the store and load money on to it. My question is:

Is it possible to load money on to a friends card without having a card yourself?
Also, Has anyone found reload packs outside of Austin Texas?

To explain just how dumb and immature iCallSick1 actually is, all you need to know is he picks fights in his own PTR comments sections. If he's actually an adult he should seek help.

I sent pm to the guy in the p2p thread who was in process of making a trade with iCallSick1 letting him know if rainbow posted warnings about him that he would be better off finding another trader.

But he had allready traded with him. A large trade also. Guys if DS MH RAINBOW or any of the guys who make the p2p thread a safer place to trade give warnings about someone, Just find someone else.

Pretty much the only two I'm aware of.

The main zoo thread is moderated as its the 'official' trading thread, most active, more for relatively smaller trades and more common for newbies as well as scammers. So a set of rules, developed over time, are in place, to protect newbies and users, as well as to ensure the site doesn't get a bad name as a easy target for scammers, although mainly to protect fellow members. From what I understand, most if not all, mods are volunteers and the ones in the zoo transfer thread are, especially, veterans in doing research on suspicious posts.


HSNL, for the most part is a smaller, close-knit community, with mostly everyone knowing everyone or have friends who knows someone, so for most part people are familiar with SNs. But also, since getting action is an issue for HSNL players, some may want to keep their SNs private although I'd think its more of the first reason than this or more likely a combination of the two.

People there are expected to be veteran traders (they better be when dealing with larger sums) and as such, the thread doesn't require moderation as people either know and trust the person they're trading with or are equipped with the knowledge required to successfully trade large sums of money. Also, some might want to keep SNs private for other reasons.


If someone does come out of nowhere and posts in both threads, then mods will crosspost in both threads to alert people of a suspicious post.

The thread is basically self-moderated because they know what they are doing.

Most newbs or small traders posting there are just wasting their time.

Someone did offer me WU, but I've never used any of WU's services so I have no idea if they provide proof of sending or anything like that. Couldn't find anything using the search so any information would be greatly appreciated.
