Was doing a trade with HIDDENOUTS on Lock Poker...I had seen him do a few trades on here...but he claims he transferred me the money and Lock Support has no record of a transfer...any suggestions on what I can do. I have all of the emails saved of what we discussed.

hiddenouts@hotmail.com is a contact used only by the fake scammer, so if that was used with you then its a con.

It was not hiddenouts@hotmail.com...it was sixtoedpete@live.com...what should I do next, even though I'm probably sue it is too late to get my money back.

erickap77 was contacted via his profile e-mail link and apparently scammed off-site.

He is aware by now how foolish it was to send $$ to a random unknown.

He has been advised on what steps to take.

We are working on determining which 2+2 account may have used e-mail to contact him.

Just a quick question on how you guys are doing Netspend and GDMP transfers exactly? My understanding is that these are essentially just prepaid debit cards, so are you physically mailing the cards or what?

For GDMP, which is the only one I have experience with, you buy reload packs which has a code you send to the recipient who can use it to load money onto their card.

Guys, anyone have experience in a lost netspend card and/or have gotten a second one?

Here's the thing, I'm just about 100% sure I lost it in my own house somewhere, so I'm not concerned about it being used and I don't carry a balance on it anyway. I don't want to report it lost and wait for a new one to be mailed, because it's the weekend etc, I may do that next week though.

You don't mail anything with either option.

If you sign up for a greendot or netspend card, you'll get it in the mail in around 3-5 days.

Once you have a Netspend card, you can send and receive money directly online. All you need from the other person is their username.

With greendot, you buy a moneypak. They sell them everywhere--wal mart, walgreens, CVS, and a bunch of other places. Once you purchase it, you just send the code. I'm pretty sure it's $4.95 per pak.

Both companies have their own ways of charging fees. Netspend is sort of 'a la carte'. You get charged $1 per signature purchase, and $2 per debit purchase. Greendot just charges you $5.95 at the end of each billing cycle, which they waive if you make 30 purchases or load $1000 dollars within that billing cycle.
