Hi,

I'm new to 2+2, and have been reading threads trying to figure out how to do P2P transfers. I have money on my Juicy account, and don't want to wait awhile to receive a check from them in the mail, so I'm looking to trade.

Any information is appreciated on how to go about doing transfers, rates, risks, etc, etc. Thanks!

I needed to update this: I just sent pokerstars a $300 check. They said they'll have 100fpp ready for me when they return to the market. Nice gesture.

lol no you didn't. PokerStars is definitely not going to be accepting money from a US player, even if it's to cover a negative balance. I am 100% sure they'd tell you to relocate first and then pay. Them taking your $300 is the same thing as taking a deposit from another US player that hasn't relocated.

Pretty cool how they received and cashed that check instantaneously AND immediately replied with future fpps. Just confirms how amazing stars support is. They can beat the speed of light

Hi,

I can confirm that US players are not able to deposit on PokerStars currently, even to repay owed funds.

If a player wishes to play on PokerStars from a location where it is permissible (ie, not the United States) then we would expect repayment before allowing such a player to return to PokerStars.

Sincerely,

Michael J

Please PM me or Rainbow Warrior if you receive any PMs from him regarding trading.

Thank you.

(He has been sent a PM in this vein.)

Last Friday I was contacted by Depechbkn via Skype (skype name kingow14). He responded to my post about swapping Lock for ACR. Since I am new to the site, I agreed to send my $100 first. Now, I have been waiting for his transfer for 4 days and I haven't heard from him. Please stay away from this character. He is a POS!!!

EACH of them IGNORED thread rules and will get an infraction or deleted.

You traded with a random Skyper who definitely WAS NOT 2+2's respected depechbnkn.

I expect you to be scammed again before you start paying attention to rules and advice.
The rules are specifically designed to make trading as safe as possible.
Thanks Rainbow Warrior,

Just spent a few minutes reading what I should have read a while ago. My friend on here didn't give me very good instructions.

How long does it take to get PM's released?

Hard to say what the going rate is. There are people who are trading at .75 on the dollar. I would say that if a lot of people are going low it will be very difficult to trade higher. Just look through the p2p transfer thread and see what the majority who complete trades what their vig is. That would give you a general idea. Or you could wait and hope you get whatever you are looking for.

I am pretty sure you need a BOA account in order to do a BOA transfer. Now you could have someone send money to another bank. Fees vary based on whatever bank you use.

Would depositing on Juice Stakes with hopes of selling off money at a vig as a means of withdrawel be a bad idea? Basically does JS funds sell on here regularly and what does it usually sell at via moneygram / wester union ?

I am an ROW player and do not know if they withdraw via moneygram in a timely fashion ... their response to my inquiry has not been timely by any means.

Yes, juicy stakes sell here regularly. However, you are ROW so why would you want to play on a US facing site? Plus their withdrawal for row are good enough that selling for 20-25% vig would be a bad move imo.

Could you provide any less information?

This has been going on for years, BTW. Done many times by many people, many different ways. Some details about this case would be helpful.
