Scammed by someone claiming to be Shane Sigsbee. Sent $100 to his "horse" jlost88 and they never sent funds.

So not sure about this person. I had seen a past confirmed trade of topak365.
We messaged back and forth by PMs. He wanted 500 888-Skrill swap. Because he doesn't have much history and I haven't used Skrill much so wanted to try out with smaller increment of $100. I have sent him through 888 (900900900) an hour ago and no replies on PM. Nothing on skrill or the email I provided.

I WAS NOT scammed by the said person 'jlost88' or jfound but looked a bit strange. Saw somebody scammed. Before, I wasn't sure if I should post my interaction.
I have a previous post looking for Canadian E-Transfer .. Last week he contacted and said he will do the swap but once he gets his paycheque in 2-3 days. I said we will do it then np - I am not sending anything then. He was still interested but after a few days, he said he spent his paycheck on cryptos - he has only got cryptos and he offered me Etherium and BTC for $111 (much lesser amount to the one we agreed before) but I told him I am not using those right now - only E-transfer. Then he had this 2p2 post looking for $111.

Yeah i got 100$ on stars from you but the scammer tried to get me to send him crypto, i sent 40$ in crypto but i had a bad feeling he was trying to scam me more since he was impersonating someone i knew.
I can send you send you 50$ back in crypto if you like. Sorry you going to have to take a hit.

I am all for the forum having rules to keep out trash, but this is a bit ridiculous for an infraction given that we posted our sns in posts on same page and he referenced "same sns" in his post that I quoted.

It's especially ridiculous when I didn't even need to post this period. We had done an initial trade and correctly posted our sns. He said can you confirm in thread on 2nd one so I made that post and it took every bit of my energy at the time given I was multitabling. Should have just left it alone, now I am 1/5 banned. Great.

Mods/whoever else I am sure you are ready to say "Yah well you should have just included your sns again when you did decide to post it"

YEah well like I said I was multitabling and figured same page redundancies....

But I am sure yall just love this post, as really I realize it accomplishes nothing more than letting everyone know the security protocols are fully functioning LOL just want to rant a little now that I am not multitabling.

A similar post being on the same page is irrelevant. When someone is searching for your SN/s they do not find your similar post unless your SN/s is/are included in it. If you want your good trading record to be found by your future potential trading partners, you have to include your SN/s. If you don't care, then don't bother to post confirmations of your good trades, especially if you don't post your SN/s when you do.

Very few people who are not trolls receive anything like 100 points. In the trading thread they are given more as a slight prod in the ribs to remind users to follow the incredibly simple and few rules of thread, which are there only for the benefit of the traders who try to use the thread to find other good traders.

I think the infractions “expire” or get reversed over time. I had a few when I first posted for similar reasons.

Yes, mods can set infraction expiries, and while they're occasionally non-expiring, many expire in 6-12 months. I think most, if not all, infractions handed out in this forum have an expiry time frame in that range.

Need help ! I am from Serbia and I deposit 50 usd on neteller non gambling in order to trtansfer it to Skrill and then to Pokerstars. Unfortunateley my money cant be transfered to skrill for some reasons i dont know. I cant withdraw it but i can send it to some other neteller account. I need a trade. zelle is pretty safe (bank to bank) and can be connected to most bank accounts (even if you don't have a big chain bank)

crypto is safe

other e-wallets like paypal, cashapp, etc are also potentially reversible. if you are trading with a trusted person then you're likely gonna be fine no matter what you use
