I can't deposit on ACR so I'm assuming same network different skin True Poker I would also have troubles there.

Ah well I'm gonna try play the ignition tiger gaming combo with the no HM2 for the moments. For those that may know, whats the safest for us non-bitcoiners should I pay the fees and go through skrill or just use my card deposit and just feel secure that I wont get done given they have enough of a reputation to uphold (yes srs please let me knows)

GL to all those searching too its tough coming from just being only on PS

Ignition and Betonline are your best options.

You're never completely shut out, and laws change back and forth quite often. Sucks though.

Thanks for these recommendations.
Which of these offer zoom like games?(ie:fast fold games).

I know Ignition(Pai Wang Luo Network) does and I looked at ACR and it doesn't seem to so hence all Winning Poker Network sites won't.
So do any of the remanding networks Chico Poker Network and Horizon Network offer fast fold poker?

Horizon also has a fast fold variant, but they don't have enough liquidity. It does not run often. None of the other offshore poker sites have those types of products at this time. I expect a couple of them have such things in the works, but, who knows if/when they might become available.

I am a EU player but when I moved to Thailand I asked Pokerstars to change my address temporarily and they agreed. I would imagine any Aussie players could relocate to SE Asia, only a 3 hour flight away. Rent a place and upload documents with your "new" address. Then just hop on a flight back to Australia when you need to go back.

If I flew towards Asia for 3 hours from Hobart, I would be somewhere over outback NSW. I wouldn't even be halfway to getting out of the country.

seriously bro- we have actual issues here , adding a couple of hours to your trip from beaautiful tassie unfortunately does not rate-Thanks for trying to lighten the mood but we are in real crisis mode, and will be for some time by the looks of things.
Few stranger posts seem a bit suspect , not the most proficient poster myself but they did stand out to me for some reason.
Personally managed to get on a site but not with the same sense of security major sites SEEM to offer, surprise surprise brick and mortar will be seeing my traffic eventually I'd say .
p5 saw result current$ oz, how or rather where can we talk

never had an issue yesterday when i signed up only deposited US420 but still not cool. Our Govt "protecting us" has opened us impatient f'ers to unscrupulous operators and risky options , or we can go to brick and mortar, who knew their traffic would increase(sarcasm?).

These guys have been actively doing what they can along with KEEPSYDNEYOPEN but that's a whole other issue( or is it? ) , Clubs and pubs have been forced to close at 1am not allow anyone in after a certain time , stop selling shots at like 11pm or so and some other martial law rules , however of all the hotels pubs clubs , community organisations and the like servicing the local and international patrons , who or what is exempt from these rulings?
( too much of a dumb f or as previously outlined too impatient to figure out spoiler)
spoiler-
The answer is... drum roll.... for those having trouble the answer is the casino
Got nothing against brick and mortar but do have an issue with rulings that favour benefactors of our corrup...elected officials.Get involved with http://australianonlinepokeralliance.com.au/ and for other countries look up your local chapters and support them in order to pre empt any similar issues.

To get this back slightly on track for all those players that play 10nl under traffic on tiger and ignition is meh. I can normally get 10 tables 4 ignition and 6 tiger (4nl) but it does take some waiting now and then.

Tournament selection for low $5> is gross only certain spots wheres theres more than one every half hour. My old ABI on stars was like 1.50-2 and now its like 2.80-3.

Just some info for those thinking they want to play on tiger or ignition.

Happy grinding

if you play 5nl you should be playing on ignition zone, it always runs, limited to 2 tables though but you could mix in reg tables.

I used to play on ACR and had the debit card. But I recently joined Ignition and I like it. I think i'll play there for awhile.

Brick and Mortar for living on the Gold Coast sucks. Just 2 poker tables at the Star Casino(used to be Jupiters). I've seen the waiting list get up to 31 people long. It's frustrating to drive half an hour to get there, then wait a couple of hours for a seat to open. Not really worth it for me. I hope they add more tables, but I won't hold my breath. Australia is pretty backwards on live poker. The rake is insane, not enough tables unless you're in Melbourne or Sydney, no free drinks while you're playing, often no auto card shufflers, etc. But at least the players are bad lol.

Geez mate. Stone the flaming crows if you don't know what those 2 geezers are talkin about. It's time you started to get fair dinkum. They are basically sayin we are up **** creek without a paddle now that there's no online poker. Even if you go up the casino or even up the club to play and your mouths as dry as a dead dingo's donger you still don't get any freebies. It used to be easy to make a quid at online poker cause it was piss easy. So we are pretty much rooted and the only thing to do is go drink a slab and then chuck a sickie the next day. No use whinging about it. She'll be right mate.

I just joined Ignition about 3 weeks ago and used my NAB visa debit card to deposit, no problem.

Yo,

Basically I want to play some online volume on Monday/Tuesday nights. I live in Australia. I heard Party is still offering an Aus market and that WPN/ACR also allow Australian players. Can anyone answer my following questions?

1. If I deposit onto any of these sites, will there be any issues getting money out if they decide to no longer allow Aus players?
2. Of these sites, what sites would enable me to get 3-4 tables up of low-stakes cash on a Monday/Tuesday night (GMT+10)... i.e. there's no point me depositing if I can't get the volume in I need.
3. Any decent RB options?

Cheers

Before u deposit with coins find out what the wallet provider is going to charge u for the transaction.

When I did my 1st coin transaction I got ripped hard on the wallet fee.
The site doesn't charge for coin transactions.

Party is not sticking around in the AUS market. I doubt any publicly traded company will.

WPN has plenty of volume for a low stakes 4 tabler.

WPN has rakeback - 27% flat rate. They also have a VIP program, but it is better for high volume players and as described, you should stick to the flat rakeback option.

Visa and other credit cards are not going to have a 100% acceptance rate in the new normal of the Aus market. You're probably going see only get a 50-60% acceptance rate across the board. Bitcoin will work 100% of the time unless it faces user error.
