This has been discussed at length in the Intertops thread and is IMHO a false positive. I have been playing on Intertops since the legislation.

Either thousands of people are playing on a number of networks that all have viruses and somehow haven't noticed, or you've got a virus scanner that gives a lot of false positives.

I'll leave it to you to decide which one makes more sense.

Been on Tiger for almost 2 years without any issues.

My JuicyStakes account has been on a torturous journey over the last 5 years. Initially it was cake; then it became WinCake when they split the US players; and was ported to Juicy Stakes automatically when Cake/WinCake closed their own room.

I had no problem when it was a Cake/WinCake account but had to add PokerClient.exe to AVG's exception list at Juicy Stakes.

I have had no indication that the software has ever done anything...... strange.

They will accept cards again. Processors come and go. If you haven't fully verified your account, you should do so, as that will improve your chances of being offered a credit card deposit option if credit card processing volume happens to be limited.

WRT banks and Bitcoin, it's an ongoing issue world-wide. Banks don't like crypto-currency as it has the power to potentially loosen their stranglehold on world currency/commerce/everything. Use a different bank. Use a local exchange and buy crypto for cash off of other people in person. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Hell, you can even trade crypto or ACR funds here on 2+2 in the trading threads. Here's the one in the Internet Poker forum (warning, read the rules in the first post!):

Anyone used btcmarkets or any of the popular Australian exchanges "recently" to send Bitcoin to Americas Cardroom?

I registered a account over a month ago with coinbase, uploaded ID but still no confirmation or email of ID registration from coinbase.

You shouldn't be sending funds intended for gambling to, or from, any exchange. Use an intermediary wallet that you control. Easiest is online using blockchain.info, but you can use a local wallet such as electrum or a hardware wallet like ledger nano s.

I had a friend who sent from btcmarkets to acr 2 weeks ago no worries. And I did it myself a couple months ago. Fk using intermediaries.

With the recent issues with aussie banks and the exchanges tho maybe this has changed.

There are many documented cases on these forums and others of players using exchanges directly to and from gambling sites having their accounts closed. Saving a few dollars vs losing the ability to transact at all seems rather foolish and short-sighted to me. To each their own though.

I recently ordered ledger nano s. Can you make a withdrawal to ledger nano s straight from ACR or do you need to use blockchain.info as an intermediary wallet? Thank you for clarify this, I am newby in crypto currency world.

Also, I am in Melbourne for Aussie Millions.

Should be able to go straight to ledger mate. Also GL if you're playing event 1!

I've sent and received crypto using btcmarkets to and from offshore sportsbooks with no problems. Last time was college football championship game. Haven't deposited at cardrooms via btcmarkets yet but I wouldn't expect any problems there either. I don't think Australian exchanges are as worried as US based re relationships with gambling sites and there is nothing in btcmarkets T&C's that prohibits WD's to these sites.
That said, of course it is best to take the extra step and go through the intermediate wallet and I'm not recommending anyone else do what I do. Just saying it's been ok so far. These exchanges are a hassle to sign up and get verified for and you don't want to risk losing the account.
The main reason I have been doing exchange direct to sportsbook is because I live on the road (truck driver) and I do everything with an iPad (no computer or hardware wallet), and I just haven't been bothered to work out another way.

Someone already answered your post, but I'd like to clarify. The purpose of the intermediary is so that you can comply with the ToS and the exchange can say that it's not doing business with gambling companies. As such, your Nano S becomes the intermediary wallet between the site and the exchange where you will convert to fiat.

FYI, you don't even have to convert to fiat. You can spend Bitcoin at over 100,000 places online if you so choose.

many people dont like it, as it can be buggy sometimes but if you have a good pc, its actually pretty smooth. better than party poker software for example. only bug i notice these days it sometimes tables freeze when u open zone, and you just have to close and retry and its fine. it has zone poker which is like zoom and always running.
