Regarding Player Transfers - as a poker player, I very badly want to offer p2p transfers. Our regulators won't allow us to, but, along with crypto deposits, we are petitioning for them.

Therefore you really might considering re-building rakeback system in the future, and here is why I think so.
I agree with you that a little bit of innovation & variance is desirable, but look how it might look in practice.

You state that by volume most of the added RB "splashes" will be spreaded through smaller pots and that will just make game a little bit spicier, which is great. However I imagine that by value most % of the RB will be distributed by those ~500-1000bb pots;
Making an example: at a 1000bb added pot, it will be EV+ (high variance but still EV+) to stack almost ATC pre 6-way in those cases and I think it will be just a matter of time before all of the players will do so, hence your pinch of variance in RB system really turns into frequent high variance situations (in terms of RB).

Couldn't care less as I'm MTT/SNG player, though it's highly appreciated if you'd consider any system not beginning with splash/spin/jackpot/etc in those games

So what's wrong with having 1 hand to be a 6 way flip? Just adjust the frequency of 1000 bb Splash with smaller splashes so that they're balanced. It was said that smaller splashes will be A LOT more frequent.

Why would you imagine this? This is extremely unlikely. 1k bb probably will be super rare, almost like a lottery win.

I made an example of extreme situation. I also hope it will not happen that frequent, I just wanted to indicate leaning into still bit variational rewarding players system, highly criticized at other rooms, which might influence gameplay.

I honestly think if you have sub-10% rake for reg speeds and less than that for turbos/hypers you will not even need to offer rakeback for MTTs. Just gotta beat partypoker because they do have the rakeback with low-ish rake.

Did you notice how Phil said "As a poker player" before he said he really wants this.

Some of us find them extremely convenient for moving/trading money, especially when it's large amounts and/or time sensitive and it has nothing to do with cheating or money laundering in 99.9% of cases.
