It seems to be up now, for me anyway. It also seems as though I've already been refunded but I'm not 100% sure...

I got a call yesterday asking if my Gladiator promo attempt had been affected by the server crash - I had to answer no as it wouldn't have mattered either way now, but I think it was nice that they took the time to do this...

Just hoping they get to the bottom of the problem soon.

Thanks.

At peak time the traffic is OK at the 11s/22s/55s, but almost no traffic at the 33s anymore (I can't speak for the higher limits). After midnight and before 5pm (UK time) the traffic is much lower than it used to be and not really enough to be worth playing unless you simultaneously play 3+ limits and/or only 6-8 table.

One thing to note though: if you are considering Party SNGs then I would wait until December 1st as the Gladiator promo is making the games ridiculously reg-infested atm...

as far as i can see it always occurs when a certain player sits at the table with me, seems like the party software can't handle that screen name.

+1. Maybe Party wants all the grinders to go shopping and enjoy Christmas instead!

Well I'm looking on the bright side: at least the SNGs might not have 7+ regs per game like this month!

I'm beginning to see the value in low RB-value luck-based promos now...

Am I going mad or is there a problem with the hand-by-hand implementation in Party MTTs?

Let's say there are two tables left, and the tournament's running hand by hand. The hand begins. On Table 1, the hand completes swiftly and the message comes up that we're waiting for all other tables. So far, so good. On Table 2, the hand takes a bit longer. Eventually a player is knocked out. The software hangs around for a while to calculate where he finished. Fine.

Problem is (so far as I can see from watching several bubbles today) that while that placing calculation is being performed, another hand takes place on Table 1. It's as though Table 1 sees two events (hand A and then eventually hand B) and Table 2 sees two events (hand A and then the player being knocked out). Both tables then play hand C with action continuing hand by hand until there's another finish. Essentially, one table has seen three hands, while the other has seen two and a player finishing.

This is surely not true hand by hand?

Can anyone else verify this? I'm sure I'm not imagining it but I can't see why on earth it hasn't been noticed before now.

I wonder, too, whether it's connected to the procedure whereby when you hit the final table the players already on the table play an extra hand before they're joined by everyone else.

Yes, it's one of many bugs, so be sure to email Support with your details. Another MTT bug is one player sometimes pay both the big and small blind, usually when a new table with two players is opened after the tournament has already started then a third player joins in. Like other PartyPoker bugs, the horrible "feature" of a micro stack winning the bounty of a bigger stack in a multi-way pot still has not been fixed.

I'll PM you my screenname. It's happened in every single MTT in the past week where I had more than one table open to watch the bubble (or any other hand by hand stage). I never noticed it before but I don't generally play many MTTs. It sounds as though it was already known by your other customers.
