if you go to C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\Images find border.gif, right click -> resize pictures and make it 1x1 pixels, it should allow you to see the player search button in the bottom right of the client when you are in the poker lobby:



(was blocked from view before, i couldn't see the 'my waitlist', 'my tournaments' either)

basically you're removing from view useless image files that block the button from view, but they're still there (just too small to see) so the client still loads. there may be others you need to resize too

weird, always worked fine for me, there's also a cool feature you can click search then add buddies current online to search for them:



can serach multiple SN's at once, so it's a great way to find all your buddies

yeah must be a problem with different operating systems, i have tried reinstalling client. weird. i mostly just use tablescan turbo to automatically do it for me anyway

Just had a single SNG lose connection and then disappear? All the rest were fine, but this one just said "connection lost" then after about 30 seconds closed itself and vanished from the list of running games... Never had that happen in all the time I've played at Party.

EDIT: NVM, just got the "We're Sorry - Tournament Money Refunded to Your Account" email so all is good.

The rake-free tournaments after 17:55 ET tonight have been cancelled. There will be another software update.

Anyone have a way (AHK script maybe?) to auto close the extended period of inactivity pop-up PP recently added? I like to have the lobbies for each site open even if I'm not playing.

party back up and the tournament lobby interface is slightly clearer it seems, there's an info pop up now

cash games lobby, there's now a column showing an image for table type as well as the separate colours for speed/jackpot tables, an image to show non-DP tables, and the seated players list shows who is dealer button, BB and SB...

you can select a seat to sit in before opening a table now, that's the only useful thing i can see

party update:

• Seated players list now shows who is current button, SB, and BB.
• New graphics show which tables are Jackpot (), Speed () and Super Speed (), and No Disconnect Protect (). This means you can now "take seat" with the position you want directly from within the lobby before the table opens.
• Added filters for 20bb tables and anonymous heads up games

(shhh: there is also a possibility all users may be allowed to register in the "beginners tournaments"

This morning we have released the latest version of the client. The following improvements have been introduced:

We have made some changes to the organization and layout of the lobby and the new features we have added include:

• You can now choose and take a seat directly from the lobby, select any free seat, the table will be launched and once buy-in is completed the player will be sat at their chosen table.
• You can hide full and empty tables from the lobby.
• We have added icons to make lobby navigation easier.
• Tournament starting Time (in next 10 mins, 30 mins etc) has been added to the default filter.

We have added single click session options / preferences to help multi-tabling:
• Sit out at Ring game tables-X
• Sit out next Big Blind at Ring Game tables-X
• Away (Post Blind and Fold) at all tournament tables-Y
• Sit out at all tables
• Sit back in Ring Game tables-X
• Sit back in Tournament tables-X
• Sit back in All tables
• Auto Post Blind/Ante at All tables

We have also addressed some of the bugs previously reported in this thread including:
• Show decimal points up to 2 digits and resize the Statistics dialogue if required
• Display Fixed Limit in lobby instead of Limit

And there has been further work on stability and infrastructure improvements.

The best is the "sit out on the next big blind on all tables" option.

The problem I have with player search is not that I can't access it, but that it always just says:

SomeName -(0) Table

...and tells me nothing more.

confirmed looks like this is a bug caused by the update

If anybody has the problem of the "Show window contents while dragging" option randomly resetting while you're playing then I've found a very simple AHK fix for it:

Just make a script with that line in and then run it whenever you want to reset the setting...

This is way easier than messing about trying to get to control panel in Windows 7 to reset it (this has been tilting the hell out of me 1-2 times per session recently).

Hi guys few questions...what are the games like and the VIP system?? i play on ipoker 20/50nlhave a 60%deal was considering moving sites as ipoker is very nitty.

Whats the deal with bwin also?
Are the games softer on party then ipoker?

They are merging within this year. (party and bwin that is)

I play both sites and the games are almost identical imo

edit: i'm getting the opposite happening and if I run it again (insta opens and closes the AHK) still does not show window contents when dragging.. is ther any way to setup this AHK to run every 2min or something and just constantly be running in the task-bar?
