Ok, that's different then. Happened once again, lost the community cards. Tried to restart Party client, out of memory when it tries to send a report. Everything fine after restarting.

I have a request that I've brought up before. PLEASE consider making the note-taking box bigger or in some way allow players to manually strech it to a size that works for them.

If any work gets done on the classic table chat box, then pleeeeeeeease make it so we can use coloured notes on classic tables too!

I guess there isn't a great desire for this so it's low priority, but I'm sure other SNG players will back me up on how helpful it would be...

Not so different. I lose all the community cards and buttons. Maybe I can see any board and some buttons on a couple of the tables. Then when I try to open a table or highlight the lobby the "out of memory" pops up.

Ah ok. Yeah, the buttons act strange too... I can see the texts but the graphics for the buttons disappear. They work, too... I bet through a hand with TP (hand strength was showing).

Since Party hasn't asked for any more details, please cross check against my list, maybe we can rule something out.

Party_Rep,

I'd like to bring some issues to your attention:

1. Some of the hand histories Party sends by e-mail are messed up. They look like this:

...
Seat 1: null ($25)
Seat 2: HERO ($25)
Seat 3: null ($27.32)
Seat 4: null ($20.57)
Seat 5: null ($33.16)
Seat 6: null ($25.34)
null posts small blind (0.1)
HERO posts big blind (0.25)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ Tc, Kc ]
null folds
null raises 0.75 to 0.75
null folds
null folds
null folds

2. Why do I sometimes have two PartyGaming.exe processes running? The second one is definitely PartyCasino but I don't even have it installed! If I delete the PartyCasino folder and also delete its folder from the registry, when the PartyPoker starts it re-creates both of those!

3. Your engineers need to spend (a lot of) time on optimizing the software. As it is, Party uses about 3-5 times as much CPU as the Stars client.

Anybody able to log in yet? I managed to get the client running, but won't let me log in and I can still see the SNGs all sat there not being canceled yet.

That thing's about as much use as a chocolate teapot (as is the other page that always says the site is fine).

Bring back Bill Rini (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...ements-109519/):

Instead, we have spent the last 45 days digging into and optimizing the very core of our software. We have focused on hundreds of tweaks and fixes which in aggregate dramatically improve the stability of the poker client and ensure that all players get a consistently high-quality experience.

The results have been impressive. We are recording dramatically better performance and stability – in particular over long session times and whilst running multiple tables.

However, as encouraged as we are by these numbers, we’re still fine-tuning some things and hope to get the number of ongoing issues as close to zero as possible. As part of that effort, we’ve created a debug version of the client, which players with ongoing problems can download by contacting our customer service department. It will create a detailed crash report that will help our engineers further diagnose and eliminate performance-related bugs.

In short, we’re listening, and we’re committed to creating the best possible experience for all of our players. So please don’t hesitate to let us know your thoughts, comments, and problems surrounding our platform, and while we can’t respond to each suggestion individually we will certainly consider each and every submission.

And for those of you for whom performance issues kept you away from the best tables in online poker, we ask you give it another try!

Good luck at the tables.

These server outages are getting way too frequent and something REALLY needs to be done about them... Client improvements can wait.

Agreed. This is the third time in a week or so I have lost all of my MTTs. It's simply not good enough, and it's not as though they're not raking enough to invest in decent tech and software thousands of times over. Back to Stars, I guess.

Party, you've always been a bit of a joke, but some of us found reasons to stay. Until you start respecting your customers, though, you'll keep losing them. Worst of all, although I'd love to think that this kind of thing just angers the regs, it's the casual players who're just getting started who will be turned off most. We, sadly, are all too used to the shambles.
