I read Bill Rini is going back to work at Party... Please god let him be in charge of fixing these server crashes (not sure if anybody remembers, but he was the one who got the devs to concentrate on fixing the client crashes that plagued Party 3-4 years ago and he seemed to make a real difference).

Fingers crossed, eh? It's a mess at the moment. I don't know if it's their tech, or a supplier, or even some kind of malicious campaign, but they need to sort it out pronto.

it's been on and off for 2 hours now in montreal canada. But now i can't even get into the lobby. What the hell, this is ridiculous. Glad i was only in a cash game when it went down.

Maybe Party's servers were overloaded when abunch of players from FTP moved over. But I heard this has been happening frequently for the past few weeks.

Perhaps it has to do with all the additional players they must be getting since black friday, but I can't believe they're not upgrading their servers already in the expectation that this would occur.

Party's tourney servers have been iffy for a long time. Not saying they go down every day, or even every month, but they go down too often and really need fixing.

Their ring game servers are usually okay... but not tonight.

Wish they would get it sorted - they are a trustworthy site, and probably the fishiest big site you can find - but their server crashes are a pain.
