Many times after closing Party Poker the process is still there and you have to manually kill it. So before you start Party client take a look whether there is already an active process of Party Poker. If yes just manually kill it. Should solve your problem.

LOL, what? Do you just make up whatever information fits your theory?

TwoPlusTwo is, and always has been, based in Nevada, and its servers have always been in the US AFAIK.

It does? Even if you were right that 2+2's servers were in the UK, how would that affect what poker site 2+2 posters support?

Not sure if I was just lucky or if it has just been fixed, but I managed to change my name without problems by going to https://secure.partyaccount.com/‎ and doing it from there.

When I go to that site and click on the Account tab nothing appears under it...

Can't find the problem why this happens...

Perhaps try a different browser?

(I used Chrome fwiw, so maybe that's why I was OK?)

Your about 6k miles away with one, Two plus Two's domain points to a DC in Texas. Pokerstars.com is in Scotland, not what i would call in the middle of the UK but what ever but it's close enough lol

Anybody here with a sharkscope subscription able to check out the two players: "highestroller" and "thenegotiator".

Both from Germany, very similar stats, very similar distribution of game types played and very similar bet-sizing method(s).

Are they playing at exactly the same times of day? What % of games are played together? Anything else you can tell from premium features of a SS subscription?

They might be entirely innocent, but the similarities are quite striking.

Juk

There are actually a couple more who may well fit the same profile (ie: similar-ish stats and similar SS game distributions), but I'm not sure if there are German and/or if they display the same bet-sizing methods as these two, so won't post the names until I've watched them more carefully over the next few days and see how closely they match the two listed above.

Hello guys.

I Play poker for years and never had any suspicion about the poker room be rigged, but lately I'm suspecting that PP is to promote recreational players.

Or I am just in my biggest bad run (tilt) of my life, extraordinary hands(bad beat/coolers) all at once...

They have played 163 sngs together.
(all sngs for both players are 10 player turbos)

It's only a 163 game sample but this shows me that in their games together
thenegotiator's ROI drops 18.1%
highestroller's ROI jumps 14.8%

I don't really think that's a big enough sample to say anything about their play together though sadly.

As I said above, they might be entirely innocent: Germans playing a similar strategy on Party isn't anything new (because of the ps.de forums, etc), but these two just seem too similar for comfort IMO...

Their late-game bet-sizing strategy (ie: involving a fairly even distribution of 2x, 2.5x and all-in) is very unusual on it's own and together with the other similarities (I just realized even the way they composed their screen names is similar!) makes me highly suspicious of them.

I must have just been lucky (I'll see if I can see the page from my netbook later as it's running a different OS and firefox).

Not really actually

You guys know Isai Scheinberg (the guy who owns Stars) actually personally reads the 2p2 forums (seriously).

No wonder they get it right. Never mind being caught red handed in outright scams, the owner of this company actually has a personal interest in the feelings and opinions of his most regular high volume customers.

Spoiler:
Who would have guessed?

Spoiler:
I know some regulars here have bums to hunt and bonus money in the upwards of many thousssaaaands, so keep standing up for what counts in our game right?

Spoiler:
right?

Spoiler:
having point and grinding some more for a future bonus isnt an excuse anymore ; they're worth nothing now (well, ~12%)

And lets say you have all your point right now, they're only worth 33%. Such a % can be found anywhere on the net without or with few restriction so there's not need to clear them, they're worth nothing

Yes, after one of PartyPoker's many blunders of getting rid of the Tounament Leader Boards without proper notice, most of the tournament grinders like me have stopped paying rake at Party. The guarantees have since been in a downward spiral. Even the WPT Paris and other qualifiers don't get enough players to generate one seat.

What's even worse for me is that the freezing or lags has made Party unplayable since the last update. I have contacted Support several times but they don't know how to fix their horrible software and servers.
