Update on the french partypoker massive scam (although nobody seems to give a ****) :
- guy with 55K confiscated got the account re-opened... minus 35k (he says he won 25k against the fish).
- 2 guys got their account reopened as well, with far less than before. Both say they LOST against the fish.
- one guy claim he played 456 hands against the fish and won 2650€. They took 8k from his bankroll
- another one says he counted 30 different accounts all belonging to the same fish. He's a net loser against those accounts. Party says he played against only 15 fraudulent accounts and took 12k from his bankroll. They refuse to name the fraudulent accounts or to communicate any hand history.
- Not a single player got money back from party.
- The hacker/fish is still playing on party, playing with either an old account or a freshly created one.
As you can see from this pattern, partypoker is letting the fish play with fraudulent money and is doing nothing to stop him. Then they proceed to block all the normal players accounts that played against him and steal a lot of money, regardless of the real outcome of those encounters.
Hi,
The investigation of the PartyGaming fraud department about the issue on our French network is now over. All accounts that were temporarily blocked are now open.
We had to carry out these investigations in order to ensure fair play at our tables.
Part of the money won and lost by the fraudulent players has been taken back by our Fraud department and will be used to pay back the owners of stolen credit cards. According to French law, this has to be done by the poker room on which the deposits took place (PMU in this instance).
We have contacted the customers concerned directly and according to our terms and conditions we cannot reveal the details of our conclusions.
I can confirm that the only funds taken back from accounts were winnings from players using stolen credit cards and the rest of the bankroll has not been touched. Any rake paid when playing against the fraudulent player will also be paid back to players accounts.
Thanks
Party Poker
