There are rumors of FTP coming back in November. I can't wait to leave Party and play there again if that happens. Can anyone remember if their Points/Cash Bonus system is better than Party's? I remember one could get a sick amount of points with the Black Card+Happy Hour multipliers which would lead to nice cash bonuses. Hopefully, that system is still in place upon its return.

If you look around the images folders then you might be able to find something that is different on the tournament tables (eg: blackjack button, rebuy button, etc) and then edit it to be really garish colours to help you identify the table type better.

I'm a winning player but this horrible software continues to cost me thousands of dollars with its lags, bugs, chat not working, etc., etc. The more tables you play and pay rake, the more Party costs you money. I won't bother maintaining my Palladium status this quarter.

I'm playing MTTs again and it's been so smooth for me. Tables always appearing when they should etc.. Much much better than before. Can't say any bugs have cost me a penny.

Fwiw there's been a lot of overlays lately as well. I'd be surprised if a few guaranteed prizes weren't lowered.

Massive overlay in the 55$ speed at 5am. Around 1200$. Obv good as I cashed but the low traffic isnt a great sign.

It's only until 20:00 ET, not 22:00. Unfortunately for tournament players, it may not be worth playing outside their normal time as PartyPoints are only credited at the UNPREDICTABLE end of a tournament and players will get mad when the bonus points are not credited if it ends after the deadline. For example, if the tournament has a start time of 13:00 EDT, you get eliminated within Happy Hours but it ends at 14:01, then you and everybody else get zero bonus points.

If you happen to be in the final two of a tournament, then you want to try to end it within the Happy Hours so you and everybody else gets their bonus points. P.S. Are the Russians the scourge of SNGs just like in MTTs? When will the comrades be segregated into their own PartyPoker.ru?

I think I can top that. See anything funny in the hand history? The ghost player is back... in the client, the seat where the raises came from was marked as "reserved". Preflop I clicked call as there only seemed to be one player on a steal, no sign of any more money put in the pot (the ghost had raised)... ended up calling 2 bets cold but thought I had misclicked "raise" as I put 2 bets in the pot and the next (and only visible) player called after me. Rest of the hand you can see me betting, raising and calling myself. I didn't see any money moving in the pot from the ghost but my action buttons did change according to his actions.
Waiting for a reply from support, this bug cost me $220...

Wow, are there super users at PartyPoker with the added power of invisibility? What's the screen name of ghost player #6 in case there's a pattern? Have there been any screen shots yet that verify this inexcusable money-losing bug?

I sent an e-mail about a month ago about the ghost player bug with a hh. They replied saying there was nothing wrong with the hh and what did I mean by ghost player, so I answered in excruciating detail what was wrong with the hand. They said they forwarded the message to the technical team and I never heard back. At the time I requested the hh to see if they had a full version but they didn't send me any of the ones that had ghost players, though the rest of the hands I did receive, so I'm pretty sure the problem wasn't just on my end.

I believe what happens here is the client loses communication with the server for a second at some point and doesn't know there's a player sitting in the seat. The action buttons do reflect the bets and raises coming from the ghost (but the amounts were incorrect imo, though I don't have a screenshot on this) but the client doesn't know how to display the actions correctly. (After the hand, the winners name was displayed in the dealer chat).

All of this would be somehow excusable all the way to the point when a bet or a raise comes in that doesn't fit with what's being displayed at the client - it's serious resync time now (or even grounds for cancelling the hand). That would still leave an error possibility (I could raise, thinking I'm on the button, but there's actually another player there who reraises) but it would still be infinitely better than having to play the hand to end against the ghost.

I received the hand history for my session, now showing the ghost and also the fact that some other players were actually not the same ones that were show in the client, i.e. while I was playing against PlayerX, it was actually PlayerY who sat in the seat.

I also received a compensation for this and the promise that they keep looking into the error ( I had reported this already some months back).

Nash_equilibria, the player is a reg (or at least I've played plenty against him in visible mode ). I just took a screenshot when the game ended, showing in the chat that the pot went to player that wasn't even supposed to be sitting in the table.

Should anyone see this, keep bombarding the support. If you don't get a screenshot, send them the hand history showing the bug, they're familiar with it now. You might even not notice it directly if it's the "wrong player", not "ghost player" bug unless you see the dealer chat showing weird player names. The ghost player hands don't import (at least in PT) so there's one sign more.

On a related note, has anyone been able to import the hand histories received from support (to PT)?
