Personally im just waiting for stars to lower their sng rake. Its nothing but regs at partys sngs nowadays and the action isnt good enough. Too bad, i have to pay taxes on winnings from stars but not on winnings from party. When stars lower their rake there will not be enough incentives to play at party anymore for me. Their usp has always been the tax situation but that will not be enough. Imagine playing sngs with ~half the rake and ten times the action. And software without bugs. Will be happy days.

Changes seem awesome to me. Elite being reduced to 40k/quarter is really good.

can someone confirm/deny this for me please:

when it is someones turn and their timer runs out (after timebank) there is a period of time (around 5 seconds) where the blinker indicating whose turn it is just blinks but nothing happens. if it happens to me my buttons will disappear after the timer runs out but it takes the 5 seconds before I am put to sitout.

i just find this period of time completely useless waste of time

party support claims it is my connection but i remember this happening back when i was on a university 100mbit line so i would like someone to check for me

doesnt cost anything. you can even join someone waiting for hu action and not post your blinds. wait until the timer goes to 0 and see if you are being sitout instantly or if there is the ~5 seconds before it happens where you cant do anything but wait.

this is the reply i got from the support when i asked about it:

Party Rep - Can you please give us a new ETA on the sitout problem fix that we were promised months ago? When will it be implemented? Higher stakes games are a mess, people camp on tables and sitout/table block all day long.

It's not a bug that effects me as I only play SNGs these days (ie: no post option, etc).

The bug you mentioned a few posts back about the tables losing the "show window contents while dragging" (or whatever it's called) did hit me recently though - was great fun trying to figure out where the bloody setting for it was in Windows 7 whilst playing (and of course Windows 7 can't keep it in the same place as XP Turned out it's now in "System" <- WTF??? ).
