yeah you always get race point cards in the same order "20-10-1-5-3" followed by 1-3 cards of freerolls, $ or partypoints

racepoints ev per card is around 5-5.5 so if you make 300 racepoints per day (like the 6ppl on the top of the leaderboard have done now for 2 days) you are running way over EV

best card so far 150 partypoints

I'm just glad there's a 'reveal all' button. I didn't notice that the first couple of times, and messing with 'scratching' was tilting to say the least lol.

I would "never say never", but this is my expectation.

PokerStrategy.com: Do you think non-US players would be allowed to play on US poker rooms?

Jim Ryan: I would "never say never", but this is our expectation.
Meh.

EDIT: Oh actually I misread that! Let's hope then.

I cannot act on, close or do anything on that table, so I am forced to "End Task" PartyPoker and lose money on my multiple tables while restarting. Is this caused by using the preferred seating option in Party and/or PokerTracker 4?
I know you put in quotes but is that exactly what the message says?

Actually that sentence is very confusing:

Quote:

Does "this" refer to the interviewer's question or does "this" refer to the never comment from the first half of the sentence?

^You were right the second time. I'm expecting Bwin to become a skin of party, and he is expecting the US poker laws to allow foreign players.

That would be the Nuts.

I dont think MGM/BWIN Party have applied for a Nevada Licence yet, so maybe they are just waiting to see what hapens.

Party need to have some change, SNGs are such a regfest atm.

I'm not sure if adding the BWIN players will make them any better; they could end up MUCH worse considering how rakeback-pro infested the BWIN SNGs are

I also hope that if/when they do merge, that there isn't some super-unfair grandfathered rakeback setup where all the long-standing Party SNG players get shafted out of the games...

Yes, I sometimes get the PartyPoker.com error message:
"Please wait for some moments while table seating updates."
It seems to happen right after I time out on a tournament table. My workaround for now is to exit/pause PartyEzCASH, and I am eventually able to close the stuck table.

yes, this is tilting the shiet out of me too. Also they need to fix this obv bug: "whenever you have your sit out next bb button checked but the person on your right snap sit out his next bb, you won't be able to sit out and are forced to post the bb which makes it another round for you."

I thought Bwin was like 8% max rake back? And that it's the biggest fish contributor to the on game network! Should make the games on party great for atleast a few months

I thought BWIN was just the old Ongame network renamed after Party acquired it and that there were some players getting 60+% rakeback (making the SNGs a total reg-fest)?

Maybe things have changed since I last looked or I'm getting mixed up with networks.

Nope Bwin is the owner of the on game network but is just a skin on the network (albeit the largest one). Only the traffic from the skin Bwin will be merged the rest of the on game network will remain as it is.

Hey guys, hope this is the right thread for my question. About to withdraw from party poker and they seem to be charging 3-4% just to change the currency from USD to GBP. Is my best option to

a) change account currency to GBP? (it doesn't say how much the fee for this is, fu party poker) then withdraw in GBP
or b) withdraw in USD and let my bank do the conversion, incurring whatever fees they have, which I'm hoping is less than party poker's :|

Not a terrible site but baffling how they can charge that much.

Thanks!

where are you getting the currency conversion figures from to compare 3/4% less to?

Well earlier I was going to cash out 1k, put 1000 in the amount field and selected GBP as my card currency. It said my account will be credited 617 iirc, then when i clicked exchange rate it showed the exchange rate as 1000 USD = 639 GBP.

Now when I fill out the form it still goes down as 617 in the main window, but when i click exchange rate it says based on the current exchange rate my 1k is worth 623 GBP, based on exchange rate of $1 : £0.62. Google thinks exchange rate is $1 : £0.633 but w/e.

Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious but it just seems like theyre trying to screw me on charges. I'm aware there's probably not much I can do about that, just wondered if anyone had any insight on minimising charges, or if the value they give me is just bull**** and they don't use that at all :|

This. Nobody is getting 60%+ rakeback on bwin, they are all on the other Ongame skins which will be sold off as a surplus asset.

I don't think he was expecting the US to allow foreign players. Whatever he was trying to say, he didn't say clearly, but I place most credence in the "never say never" part which I take to mean "I suppose it's conceivable that they will allow foreign players, but I don't think it's likely".

I could be wrong - that's just how I read it.
