It works a bit better now, but when Im running 6 other poker clients and PT4 everything still freezes for a few seconds everytime I open a table on Party
This is not the case with any other pokerclient
And it was not the case for Party a few months ago (Unfortunately I didnt play much recently, otherwise I could tell you exactly which update made it so much worse)

Nope the problem isn't solved. Even the players who has been caught for using 3rd party software hasn't been banned.

So even if it's not allowed to use one it's still "allowed".

So either I can look for an "illegal" 3rd party software or avoid partypoker completely.

I'm coming back to poker and thinking about cashing into party poker.
I plan on grind up again from NL2 or what ever is lowest on pp.

My questions:

1. Are the micros soft there or reg/bot infested?
2. Is the new rake system good for a winning reg?

25 $ rake a week?

Do you mean rb? If so then kind of yes but keep in mind that the min you need to rake min 25$ / week for getting something back. And the % with the pp rake for micros ain't that good. If you don't hit that you get 0% back. So cliffs : the party rb is good for grinders who rakes a lot. Like bots. Just kidding there are no bots.

Party? Have no idea. Other networks probably and there is a form here somewhere that you can use and ask for one.

Just went through the latest software release update process...

Got stuck on 90% for some reason and wouldn't budge. Gave up after a few minutes, cancelled it and did a clean re-install from the website (which has also been updated). That worked fine.

Pleased to confirm that tech have finally fixed the long standing lobby/filter bugs we had previously discussed.
First thing I did after the update was to set up/adjust my columns/filters and lobby to the way I wanted it, to see if the problem of pop-up filters reverting to default on there own still occurred when logging out. Can happily report they didn't and when logging in again, everything was how I had left it and previously set it up to be.

Relieved to know I no longer have to go through this process each time I login and it will certainly help make for an improved overall experience when using PP so, appreciate the fact that these issues in particular have finally been fixed.

My lobbies look good for the first time in a long time. Fingers crossed that it sticks!

I'm considering leaving pokerstars after some god awful treatment over the last few months.

Having looked around and ruled out a bunch of other platforms for a variety of reasons, PP seems most attractive. I have a few questions though.


1. Can you use pokertracker with PP? Specifically, can you use it in zoom cash games?

2. Can you use TN with PP?

3. Is the rakeback purely in-house or are there affiliate deals you can get, such as signing for a stable that has an affiliation with the site?

4. How does the quality of opposition compare with pokerstars @ 25NL 6max zoom? (and surrounding levels)

1 Yes but hud works only on ff games if you don't get "illegal" converter.
2 Don't know about tn but partycaption is allowed and it'se better than tn for sure.

4 Don't play that limit but in general stars have softer games. Imo ff games are tougher and the pool plays more agro and is pretty infested with bots. No sry not bots just hc grinders from eastern europe that playes allmost exact stats for some reason. Allso the reg/rec ratio is better with stars.

There are a number of software changes/improvements being advertised in detail (some with pictures of what they look like) on the main PP website (see link below) that haven't actually been implemented, even though the latest software release is already out.
