Hi,

I was told by a friend to post here with what has happened.

I started playing on partypoker at the begining of the summer. As soon as I opened the account I saw a document section and uploaded a bank statement and a passport photo.
The passport was turned down(I guess because I took it with my phone) so I sent in a second copy scanned. They said that copy was ok.

So I played until 3 weeks ago when I decide to do a cashout. I try to log in the following day to see if it has been sent. ACCOUNT BLOCKED.
I send an email to operations@partypoker.com as the pop-up says. No response.

So I go to the live support on the site and they tell me everything is fine its a normal procedure and it will take 3 days.

So I wait 4 days and no email, no call, nothing. I contact them again and am told everything is fine to be patient.

A week passes and still no contact. I speak once again and am told that there was a hold up from a different department but they have been notified and will speed it up.

Another few days pass, no news. So once again I contact, this time I am told the documents I sent where now all of a sudden invalid because the security team says so. I ask what they need and where to send it.
Comes back 5mins later telling that it was a mistake, that all the documents are fine to just be patient.

This is the third week waiting with no contact from partypoker, I talk to them again and now I am told that the documents I send and told where valid are now invalid and my account is being blocked and the funds seized. That there is nothing I can do and that the decision is final and the guy logs out of the chat.
A second agent logs in saying that the decision is final and they dont tell me what the problem is with the various copies I sent nor can I send new ones.

Just leaves me an email to complain, but as I have already told them I have never got any responses to the emails I have sent.
He just says the decision is final.

Does anyone have any similar experience on what I should do?

Only thing I ever did was the first single deposit through my Skrill account and was asking the cashout in the same way.

As in the authority of the country they operate from? Or do I contact someone here in the UK?

So, on the third week I finally just got an email. It seems outing their behavior here on the forum works as my friend suggested.
Only took like an hour for the post on here to break weeks of silence.

It seems they want a third photo of my passport.

They also want a national identity card, which we don't have here in the UK...

I will send in the photo holding up the passport and see if this gets fixed.

UPDATE: I see my thread has been merged into this main one.

So after them accepting the second passport image I sent them I am now told months later it is now not valid.
The same day I am told that it is ok.

Then a few days later I am told it is not valid and told to send one in holding it next to my face.

I sent in one holding it next to my face, another additional one with a piece of paper saying partypoker.

I receive an email saying this is not up to the security standards.

So I make sure I get a perfect shot of my face with the passport and my face.

So they now have a passport photo taken by my phone, a perfectly scanned picture, a picture of it with my face, a picture of it with my face and a piece of paper saying party poker. And now another one I sent in with no response with a perfect close up of me holding it to my face.

Now they have FIVE copies.

What am I doing wrong in these pictures, how am I meant to send it in?

I've been gone for a few weeks, is it just me or did you switch the min-buyin to 100bb for PLO everywhere? This is a completely awful change, why would you ever do this?

Do you have a link to a post explaining these changes anywhere? Very, very disappointed in this change... 50bb min encourages so much more action and shot taking, and you already had solid anti-rathole measures in place with the inability to rejoin short.

Why is the minimum buyin for headsup no limit tables now 100bb?
At 5/10 it is 1000 USD, and at 10/25 it is 2499? USD, please elaborate.
I think this is a very bad development as it will kill the little action that was on there.
