Party still sucks. Extremely tilted that I moved abroad and was excited to get going on party only to find that they changed their "VIP" system, changed their rake system and software is nut low worst in the game atm. How in the **** are people still playing here? It's ****in terrible across the boards with recent developments solidifying their place in the bottom of the heap for service, experience and rewards.

As someone who paid ~100K in rake last year I feel like more of us heavy volume, many hours players need to grab the sacks a bit and start demanding what we want (obv within reason) and refuse to pay our rake to these greedy bastards.

The sit-out done at 3/6 and the voice of people like huragatange (sp?) in order to send a message to these greedy executives at party was brilliant and extremely effective. We should consider combining out efforts as a group in order to get the changes we want:

Here are some recommended changes:

1) Software sucks balls. It's glitchy, slow, requires extremely high amounts of memory and often simply fails.

2) Something as simple as the preflop raise tabs. I click on the 1/2 tab and it makes it 3x the blinds (wtf?). Okay that's useful but why does the 1/2 tab make it 3x? I click on the 3/4 tab and it makes it like 8x the blinds. Who the **** would ever make a preflop raise this much? The fishiest of fish don't even do this and why the **** does 3/4 make it 8x? It makes you look totally incompetent.

3) I can't, for the mutha****in life of me, figure out why you still insist on not showing cards until the entire board runs out in all-in situations. What is this, 2004? Fix your ****.

4) Your "VIP" system is by far, the nut worst in the game. I was hustled into believing that your monthly "promotions" would make up for any lack of rewards that the "vip" system failed to deliver. World domination = fail. The one after world domination? Don't even remember what it was. Accelerator? Well okay, nice try but too little, too late.

5) Your heads up rake system. EFFFFFFFFF UUUUUUU. And shame on us for paying it. GFY and GTFO. This should be the absolute FIRST place a sit out is organized. TOTAL...****ING...GREED. Plain and simple.

That's all I got for now, but I think that there is plenty more to be fixed. Party has enough name recognition to ride the internet poker wave into the sunset if they would implement some simple changes. It is up to us as the paying customers to insist on a good products or simply stop paying.

I see people slating the software all the time. So how come I think it's the best software for multitabling in the industry apart from maybe PS, maybe?..... The servers suck, agreed. No excuse for all these disconnects etc... but the client is great imo.

Rake sucks tho.

About the betting tabs.... get ezcash or party-tools and your experience will be a better one.

Seriously not a level lol. I start PP, bosh up 9 tables, they tile perfectly. The tables, for me at least, are very very clear. I can clearly see my cards and the button, unlike FT which I hated for clarity. Ironically most people think FT software was awesome..... The servers going down is the only nuisance. Oh and this memory leak which is clearly an issue for some people but I can barely notice it. I've never had to end a session because of it ainec.



What exactly is wrong with the software? No you cannot have a dragon or an old granny as your avatar but I'm only there to play poker efficiently.

I quite like Party's software too - I use a heavily modded "classic" theme and really the only thing I really wish for is coloured notes icons.

obv the software has tons of bugs that have been there forever which party doesnt seem to care about but still it is very fast and good for even mass tabling.

i can see why people coming from ftp and stars hate it though. it takes some time to get used to, sure. people who say the software is complete crap etc i guess havent been to ipoker, ongame, entraction etc.

The stacking is bollocks, tables randomly don't respond/pop up, everytime i register for a tournament i have to close the option to set a reminder, the themes included are old and much harder to read than the FTP/PS ones, etc etc

Its marginal for multitabling. VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY marginal. It fails to pop up quite often over other programs, the steal focus from note taking is horrible, HORRRRRRRIBLE, the sit out next BB button is quite botched, it D/Cs way too often, it auto posts your blind anywhere if you dont wait to click wait for BB, IT STEALS FOCUS FROM NOTE TAKING, the lobby refreshes the actual table conditions very very slowly so there are often full tables that say 4/6, random dog**** problem that slipped my mind, IT STEALS MOTHER ****ING FOCUS FROM NOTE TAKING.

And the rake is much higher at low stakes and the RB is ****e.

dandy, well all i lost was the 30 seconds to write an email. Maybe they will hook me up w/ a $100 bonus anyway, they seem to be quite accomodating with that sort of thing.

I think its when the blind gets skipped or something, but for whatever reason it just frequently doesnt work. Extremely annoying cuz I often quit my sessions after a few frustrating hands and then am 'forced' to play another round in time bomb mode.

You get a whole circuit for 1 sb. It's a great feature ha!

Wow, just actually looked at my rake on party compared to rush at ftp over 76k hands

I dont know how to adjust for this, and I want to put it before the rake, but my stats for Rush were 22/15/5.5 and at party they are 26/19/8 vpip/pfr/3b. So I am playing more pots and creating more rake, but regardless I dont think the difference should be THIS large.

Party: $9933

FTP: $7422.

That is a 33% hike in rake, and I am getting less RB overall on Party than I was on FTP.

That is likely true but not necessarily which is why I left it out. Even if the pots are larger AND im playing more I dont know that the rake difference should be that large.
