[OFFICIAL] CoinPoker - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)

CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players

Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.

Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.

The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets

All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.

CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.

Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.

Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)

Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.

Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.

Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile

Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.

This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.

Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions

Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.

Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch

After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

Community is the Key to CoinPoker’s Success

If you’re an active player, investor, or curious passerby please feel welcome to join our community on Telegram or check out our blog for the latest news on promotions, app updates, and partnerships as CoinPoker reaches for the moon.

Our Community Manager Nathan will keep an Eye on this Thread so if you have any Questions regarding CoinPoker & CHP feel free to ask and He would be happy to help you.

Link to previous thread - it's understandable why you'd want it buried.

A couple of easy questions to start with (that you repeatedly avoided in the other thread):

1) Who owns CoinPoker?

2) What is your relationship with TonyBet? How did you obtain their database for marketing purposes?

Re: [OFFICIAL] CoinPoker - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Amazing concept. Unfortunately, with payouts on popular sites at an all time fast.... it would take alot of incentive for people to make the switch. I dont mind waiting a day for a payout from WPN or Ignition, but it would be nice to have an experience similar to the casino.... get up from the table and have your money right away.

Are transactions put in the server queue right away after cashing out & its just a matter of how long the network takes to process it? Or is there still a small delay beforehand?

Re: [OFFICIAL] CoinPoker - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Can you explain why you haven't sent any withdrawals for 3-4 days now? I know the party line is congested ETH network but there have literally been millions of transactions on the ETH network while you haven't been sending them. I understand the price to send is up (still less than 50c a transaction) but that doesn't explain why you are not transmitting transactions to the chain at all.

Overall I like coinpoker but this recent development has me more than a bit nervous.

Re: [OFFICIAL] CoinPoker - Bringing the Game Back to Players

I have received withdrawals as of recently.

Anyways, I love that I don’t have to give away a ton of personal information to make a deposit or withdrawal and withdrawals are as fast as Etherium can process it. Been with them since March and I’ve had my fair share of problems, but mostly related to tilt and and just being a hot head.

The only downside is dealing with exchanges.

Pros:
- social games
- US Players Accepted
- no waiting for withdrawal approval

Cons:
- space bar at addon or rebuy prompt while chatting declines addon still
- they are focusing on bringing in EU players and neglecting the US market.
^all personal problems

There was nothing granted; it was just started. That said, I don't have an issue with it. I expect things have changed a lot at CP since they started the other thread, so this way they can start a thread with an OP that is more relevant to their current status. People are still able to see the history and any outstanding issues in the other thread, and I fully expect that any that haven't been addressed will be brought over here by those who have concerns, making them easier for others (including CP themselves) to find.

That said, I've added a couple of links in the OP to the old thread.

Elijah on Telegram posted this:

Quote:
🔺Regarding Withdrawls : No need to worry guys, the tech team is aware and working on it! This is my communication re withdrawals in emails today--
The Ethereum network had been very busy the past couple days. Even at say 60000+ gas and 21 gwei the wait time had been calculated at over 2 hours.
As I'm sure you know, we are covering the gas prices of all withdrawals. Our defaults for gwei and gas limit adapt to Ethereum network loads, however this network spike was large enough and took place quick enough, that our system did not recalculate these settings in time to compensate. The network has slowed down now though, and these should be processing normally soon.

So your transaction will still either process, or will return to your account so that it may be initiated again. We will fix those we can manually, but while they are pending on the blockchain, we cannot affect them, unfortunately. For those pending on our end which have failed on the blockchain as a result of this spike, (which is mainly what remains now the network has slowed) we will have to locate and resolve these manually, and this will take some time.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and appreciate your patience with this process. 🙌

Their telegram is full of people who have been waiting on withdrawals for 4-5 days. The ETH network has gone back to normal and was never congested so a real explanation for why they suddenly aren't paying anyone would be nice.

I really don't know if it's back to normal. I haven't done any transaction lately, but this is what ethgasstation suggests as prices. That's not so normal.

Fastest (100 Gwei)
Average (50 Gwei)
Cheap (45 Gwei)

I used to send with 60k gas and gwei=2 in the past.

Anyone playing on the site and has actual experience?
I always thought it was just another ICO scam, I'd never thought they would launch their site.
That said, as far as I understand you have to use their token as "money" to play, right?
Beyond me why not use at least ETH or USDTether

Nope. They are ignoring recent questions in the thread so the excuse they don't see them because they are buried doesn't work.

I'd suggest if the CoinPoker Rep. doesn't make some kind of regular appearance and continues to cherry-pick the questions he wants to answer then the thread should be locked. They shouldn't be allowed to use this thread just for advertising; they should be required to do some support as well.

Yes they have some issues, but i think that will be resolved soon. I withdraw in the past without problem. And noRake needs to be supported.

Here's what you highlighted.

"I fully expect that any that haven't been addressed will be brought over here by those who have concerns, making them easier for others (including CP themselves) to find."

In other words, if there are things that aren't being addressed, posters will likely bring them over to this thread again. I'm not suggesting that they couldn't see them before, but if such an excuse were to be used, it would be even less plausible if the issue(s) were brought forward again in this thread.

Really, my main point was that a new thread doesn't allow them to sweep anything under the rug. If anything, it gives posters a chance to make their issues even more visible.

I agree that support should be happening as well, but disagree with locking this thread as being an answer. If there are problems, this thread is the best way for people to be made aware of them.

Hi The Imp

We apologize for taking the time to answer this question. Your discussions and interest are highly appreciated, however sometimes the details of process have to be kept confidential due to various business agreements, especially with potential future investors.

CoinPoker is owned and run by Processing Fusion LTD, a company registered under BVI laws. At the moment, there are multiple shareholders who are all presented as team members on our website. There is one additional private investor who is not involved in business operations but helped financially to deliver this project from early stages. To answer all the questions if TonyBet and/or its founder Antanas Guoga aka Tony G are the owners of this project, we confirm that they are not.

We have a couple of Call Option agreements with Venture Capital funds from Asia and Europe. Since the pre-ICO was very successful, we hope they will become legitimate shareholders very soon and when they will, we will announce it publicly.

Until any official changes in the ownership of the project are confirmed, this is all we can disclose to you for the time being.

Thank you for your interest in CoinPoker. Wish us luck! We are working hard now to deliver the best possible product

Hi MUCKQ

At the moment there are no holds or waiting times on our side regarding withdrawals, but times are solely depending on confirmation time on the ETH network. If we need to hold withdrawal requests for game security concerns or similar this is something we reserve the right to do, but our general approach is to eliminate holds on withdrawals as much as humanly possible.

Our situation is very different from regular fiat rooms, since we do not run the risk of chargebacks against the business. The only consideration for us is game security concerns to protect players.

Hi WichitaDM

We recently introduced a feature which automatically adjusts Gwei used based on what is needed on the ETH network to push through transactions. Last week, things changed so quickly that our tool could not adjust in time, resulting in transactions being sent with too low Gwei. The way our wallet works is that if a transaction is not processed on the ETH network, the queue behind it will not be processed until the "stuck" transaction starts confirming.

All players can rest assured that all funds are safe. We are of course working to resolve the current issues as well as fine tuning the adjustable Gwei tool we have to be able to handle similar such events in the future.

So, even if transactions are confirming on the ETH network since then, our problem is that we have a few transactions blocking our queue. We of course agree that this is undesirable and as one of the first companies to use the ETH network for actual business use facing thousands of customers it is a top priority for us to find solutions for this.

We improve things all the time, and we will continue to do so. The industry is in its infancy and over the next few years companies like ours will identify and resolve these issues to make full use of blockchain technology solutions, which we are fully convinced will outperform pre-existing technology solutions.

Hi Adjusted,

itís not that we are ignoring questions, this thread is mainly created as a place for players to discuss all about coinpoker, as said in the OP I will be here from time to time to keep an eye out and answer those questions which havenít been answered by other 2+2 Users or those who are directed to us. As we now have a new official thread (not Ico focused & definitely not for advertising reasons ) about our platform we all have the chance to start this with structure from the beginning, so no questions get buried. And support will be given where needed.)
