Crazy they're still allowed a 2+2 account after deliberately devaluing their currency (stealing balances). I warned 2+2's ad guy when this thread started, it's been worse than I imagined.

You're assuming a level of knowledge that doesn't exist on our end. I am aware that the value of their currency has tanked, which was always one of the potential outcomes, so that in itself wouldn't necessarily be a reason to take action. What I'm not aware of is any deliberate devaluing of currency; it would be helpful if you could explain this in terms that a non-altcoin investor would understand, and provide any evidence you might have.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about here. I went through all my PMs from you (just 5 of them, I think), and all I found was this, sent 3 months after they started their original thread:

A PM about a specific poster, with an aside about "CoinPoker type rooms". Is that what you meant, or am I missing something?

I assume that person was talking about the Nash nutjob, who somehow got nearly 1,000 posts in this room's thread/topic before he was banned and deleted for the 20th, 30th who knows which time.

As a general rule of thumb, whatever the Nash guy says is a good thing to do - one should do the exact opposite, so I assume he was very bullish on this alt coin concept at the time. If so, then short selling them (if possible) at the time would have been a great strategy.

The new year means new beginnings, and 2019 will come with some changes on our platform. The objective of these adjustments is to bring us one step closer to our ambitious vision for CoinPoker as the biggest online poker room in the world.

Without further ado, here’s what you need to know for this new month of the new year.

1. We will continue the Galactic Grinders Leaderboard promotion
Last December we launched our Galactic Grinders Leaderboard where players competed for a share of 1,000,000 CHP. Top 50 spots can collect a cut of 100,000 CHP weekly or stick it out for a share of the 600,000 CHP monthly prize pool.

Based on the positive response we decided to continue with the competitive action in 2019. The first Galactic Grinders Leaderboard of the year started on December 31st at 00:00 GMT and will end in four weeks on January 27 at 23:59 GMT.

2. Cash table and MTT buy-ins will be adjusted
Players have already noticed changes in buy-ins on both tournaments and cash tables. The decision to do so is to ensure that CoinPoker table buy-ins reflect fiat default values. We expect this to increase demand for CHP as playing will require more tokens than before.

3. There’s a lot more CHP to win
This month players will compete for over 1,000,000 CHP GTD daily to boost action and give our community the chance to collect Galactic Grinders leaderboard points. There will be close to 40,000,000 CHP GTD in January, as well as some exciting new additions to our lobby.

4. Introducing more freezeout tournaments
In response to feedback from the community last year, our team has also added a few more freezeout tournaments to the lobby. Previously the ratio favored rebuy tournaments, and this change gives freezeout fans the ability to enjoy more of their favorite MTTs.

I saw traffic is going up, and chp valor is 400% plus last month, i know much people are angry cause ico was very expensive, but really 2018 was a very hard year to all altcoins...

on the other hand, we have a site with open liquidity and 0 rake... i still believe in this project

granted I wasn't affected by the ICO tank but... I still like the idea, and the RNG technology. Now that you can deposit/withdrawal with ETH directly on the site has made the price of their CHPs go up quite a bit since the update (still nothing like the ICO prices)... It's going to take adoption by those who werent in from the beginning for anything to come to fruition for the site... the instant ETH->CHP conversion and the RNG technology is something not seen in the online poker industry, so maybe it will eventually set themselves apart

As Jmo said on Joey’s podcast, why not just do exactly what they are doing but use ethereum? The RNG technology and player controlled funds/smart contracts could all be done using ethereum as the currency.

But yeah barrier of entry with another level of currency is crazy. What i need to do to play on coinpoker? Buy BTC/ETH and pay fees somehow, exchange it to CHP somehow, Understand difference between exchange wallet and my own ETH/ETH token wallet, pay fees in exchange for withdrawing CHP/ETH/BTC or whatever, when i want get CHP to spendable USD back i need go over all process again ect ect. lol (To be fair they have in client exchange now.)
