At some point when Doyles Room was fairly new I created an account there but never deposited or played there. Does this mean I now have an ACR account or am I free to create one?

Need some info on the debit card, please. I'm trying to figure out how to get thousands off the card at one time to minimize the use fees. I don't want to be dinged $4 every time I go to the store and spend $100 or pay $4+ every time I make an ATM withdrawl, that will surely be limited to $400 or less.

Let's say I cashout $2500 this week and $2500 next week. Has anyone taken one to a bank to put the money into their checking account? Can I take this debit card to my bank, hand it to the teller and get the whole $5k off at one time? This would cost me only one transaction fee and the money would now be in my checking account.

Jeez, high rolla! I don't believe that you can do that. At best you would need to go to the issuing bank, which, if I can recall correctly from one of the past posts, has very limited locations. So you probably would need to split up the amounts.

ACR Rep - Please stop giving preferential treatment to some players...

ACR is given special treatment to some of their players. My friend whom I will not name was allow to cashout $2995 via check and at the same time allow to cashout $2500 via debit card without having to wait 7 days because the CEO of ACR Phil gave him the exception.

11:34ME: my friend who plays on this site... was personally contacted by Phil (the CEO of your company)... and he told him that you can... and I just want to confirm that.
11:37ACR Support: No Sir. As per our internal policies It is allowed one payout every 7 days.
11:37ME: what the heck??????? Phil (CEO) say you can
11:38ME: and it makes no sense if it is different payout method
11:38ACR Support: however if we receive a special request from our Ceo, we could do so.

ACR is giving preferential treatments to some players.

How long do checks from ACR usually take to clear?

I"m wondering when some of these "seriously looking at it" as far as S/W improvements are going to show up? Haven't seen an upgrade when I log in yet!

Also, I'll repeat...way too many BBJ tables. Rep.....the site is reaping benefits now from the rake, but those players can not sustain that rake and you'll lose them and that's forever. Need to look to serving the grinders...they pay your light bill.

Ask yourself this - Is it necessarily a bad thing that a company would bend its own rules a bit to help out some of their customers?

It is bad when I am being restricted to 1 max payout of $2995 every 7 days and others have the liberty of multiple payouts.

If you got a problem with it.. then don't play. If I was the CEO and a high stakes volume player asks for something specific, I would do anything to cater to his needs.

Why don't you just ask the ceo to get an extra cashout if you need one. Don't be bitter about the guy who got one and don't be demanding about it. Just ask and maybe they can help you out too. Lol at your complaint that their actions on that are somehow bad.

I was able to do $1000 at a couple casino ATMs with I believe a $3 fee. So thats not too bad.

Did everyone else have to send in copies of ID, CC, and a utility bill just to receive a check? And if so, were you concerned about these documents being send to them, for identity theft or other reasons?

It is very standard for poker rooms to ask for ID and proof of address before letting you cashout. They also sometimes ask you scan your CC if you used it to deposit to make sure it's yours.

Thanks Sandbagged. Just wanted to make sure it was common even to get a check. A little concerned since it is a foreign company.

It is standard. Oddly enough, I played full-time online for 8 years and never sent any documents to anyone, including neteller. Stars said they were going to go back and request ID's of all their players and they started with SN players, but they never got to me, I guess.

Not sure why them being a foreign company is concerning; if anything, it should be the fact they are willing to serve American players.

In the future, whenever it is necessary for you to shut down your server to perform maintenance, it would be greatly appreciated if you made some sort of notice available to us so that we know it is coming. All sites on which I've previously played provide this warning, whereas just now your site shut down for maintenance with the only courtesies being a pop-up explaining what was happening and the chance to finish the current hand.

I made the decision today to do a poker session instead of accompanying a few friends to go skiing. Now, being unable to do either, part of my day is somewhat of a waste.

I don't want to give the impression that I think this is a huge deal or that I am super upset, because that is not the case at all. I just want to bring it to your attention and make a suggestion.

While it's not the end of the world and not a routine/daily problem, it is a small annoyance and inconvenience that you could prevent from happening again. Please take this into consideration for improvement in your software and your customer service - allow players to plan their days by informing them of approaching site shut-downs.

Thanks for your time.

The last time they shut down for maintenance I saw a warning about it hours in advance.
