Hey all,
I've lot a ton of money a few months ago on NJPokerStars to one bot.

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered it and if so did you follow up with NJ pokerstars, I'm going to see what I can do and email them but I'm wondering how this is legal and will to speak to an attorney about fair game play and their lack of monitoring. They are a regulated entity no different than the market makers, they create the market profit off of it but dont have quality controls to monitor it.

happy to hear others thoughts/input/ and any follow ups you may have had, thanks

I have seen no recent situation regarding bots on Stars. What are you talking about?

"I lost money to a bot" tells nothing about how you confirmed you were playing against a bot or what happened or what the problem is.

wow lots of pessimism but ok.

couple of reasons - the way it played the speed it clicked and just overall game play.
but more importantly, only recently did i realize the nick of the bot was the same as those ending with those numbers that are typical of bots,
btw my game play was some time ago, i only recently confirmed what i thought b/c of the nick of the bot which matched the online typical names of bots.

still waiting for reply from PS. but I'm about 100% sure it was a bot.

There's no pessimism, just people asking for evidence. Now it turns out that you're "about 100% sure it was a bot" based on the speed it clicked, and "overall game play" without explaining what that means. Not sure why you're being so vague when you're trying to find out if others have had similar experiences.

And I've learned something new - apparently bots have typical names. If those typical names are so well known, you'd think that bot operators would change them, and I'm also surprised I've not seen anyone on the forums sharing this info. Maybe it would be a good idea for you to do so, to help people spot them.

As Bobo mentioned, you are being pretty vague. It is weird that you want others to join you for a lawsuit when not really giving any details. I don't know if you played head to head or 6-max or even cash game or when this happened or what nickname/s you are talking about.
Nobody is going to join your lawsuit anyway. But your lack of info and just assuming that people know what you are talking about is odd. Oh well.
