I'm sorry if this too much of a noob question and has been answered already before, I used the search feature and found nothing.
If you win a seat to another tourney in a satellite on full tilt can you unregister like on stars? if so I'm assuming you get t$ can these be used on sngs also or do they have to be used for mtts?
I won a sat to the Double Deuce $22 MTT and unregged and got $22 in tourney dollars. Fine and what I expected. Those tourney dollars can be exchanged for cash 95c to the dollar or used to enter other tournaments. I played another identical sat and won it, then after I unregged I got a few thousand FPPs instead of the tourney dollars I wanted. I was not happy as I wasn't expecting this. Furthermore, if there is an explanation on this in thier FAQ and website, it's not easy to find.
I was searching for answers and came across this thread.
If you satellite into an event with FTPs that you can buy into with FTPs, you get FTPs back if you unregister. This is what happened to JasonInDallas, but just to clarify it's for more than the Double Deuce. For those with rakeback, you take an MGR hit on the satellite. I'm not sure if you get hit or not on MGR again if you play the event (effectively buying into the event with FTPs), but definitely do if you unregister, get the FTPs, then use them on something else.
