I read earlier posts where people complain about they lost notes and marks on players after the new update, I play for years on 888 and on daily basis making notes and marks on players I can not imagine to lose it all, that is impossible.

Software did not ask me yet to update so with me is all fine for now, I'am sure that many people will be very angry if they loss all notes and marks, please do something about that before final update.

+1 to this. Just parse the current file the same way and match up the old tag IDs with the new system. It is not hard to do.

I lost all the colour tags and all the animal tags.
At least the text is there.

Just registered a couple of tournaments. played a few orbits but now getting a error message to check my connection. My internet is fine, I am using netflix and on party poker too without issue.

Do I get a refund for these entries since I can't play??

I can see some players are able to play though, I tried to raise a hand pf but nothing happened but the person next to me was able to raise....

When some players are able to play 888 do not gives refunds to easily. They will tell you that soe players were able to play so it is your connection. Lost thousands this way.

Yep, been told the same thing in similar situations. I withdrew most of my roll recently, just in a few micro MTTs that i can't reconnect to right now. I think this is it for 888.

These should have been cancelled ages ago

They do not monitor disconnections so they cannot react.

Does anybody know, what's the cheapest currency USD or Pounds to use in the cashier to withdraw, so that convertion fees are as low as possible?

Withdraw in $$ and let your bank do the exchange, 888 charge 5% on conversions.

This is incorrect. Withdraw in your local currency for the best rate. I live in London and withdraw in pounds.

If you test it, it will prove it. Withdraw a small amount twice, say $10, once in either currency and you will get your answer

Best to deposit in USD and withdraw in USD letting your bank do the conversions rates.

For withdrawals, each time you submit a withdrawal, you have the option to choose your withdrawal currency. This gives you the option to decide whether you want 888 to do the currency conversion or your banking institution.

I am still on the old software, even if you're forced to upgrade you can uninstall it and look for the link posted in this thread. Yes it works, at least for now.

Until this morning my negative opinion on the new look software was based on pictures but now my software updated and I still maintain it looks like it was designed by a kid for kids.

The sounds are poor and the card design is terrible and my notes are gone and wont work when I copy them like before. The only good thing I can say about it is the chat is back visible. Why not just use old layout and put chat back on screen.

I would love to know how much this cost 888 to do and if the reaction to it is anything to go by the cost of the software will be the least of their worries.
