Pause the f@@@@@@@@@@ing tournaments

So this was due to update. Thanks 888 for spewing my money. I would also want to thank you for turning your bad software into the worst software. Only cool thing is this flushing sound when chips move around the table. It brings **** to your mind so your strategy with this software seems consistent.

yes this is still happening, It was good for a brief period now its happening again. Is it your client can you confirm that, i thought it might be something to do with my firewall but i guess not as a few players are experiencing the same problem?

the $3 36man is currently getting 0 registers every time im online so something has to change, i believe its the structure being way too fast for a normal turbo.

A few things that need to go:

1) The 'you finished x place out of x players' popup after I close the table. If I wanted to know what place I came, I'd check the lobby. Let me close my table and that be the end of it.

2) The 'challenge completed' dropdown. I don't care. I'm sure you have recreational players who get super excited about getting to play a 5k freeroll or whatever but for the rest of us, please add an option so that we don't have to see every single one of these notifications.

3) The 'you have now reached level xx' popup after I finish tournaments. Once again, I don't care.

I want to play on your site, I really do because you've got some good tournaments but your software makes things unbearable. I think I speak for a lot of players when I say that not everyone is 1 tabling. I for instance often have 8+ non-888 tables going and have to minimize the amount of tables I have on 888 because of the slow software/constant popups and interruptions.

Also the new update is terrible. Please switch the table layouts back.

Oh and we still can't customize the bet-slider.

the popups can be annoying, but i like the new update 100% better than the last version.

you can absolutely customize the bet slider. maybe you havent enabled it by checking the checkbox

So, I just logged in and apparently you took the option to save the password. I guess that's a security measure.


But if a situation like the one happened yesterday rears its ugly head, you will have players experiencing 10+ crashes and having to log back in reentering their password while they are multitabling.

Also the position of the stack size is horrendous. It's blended into everything else.

Other players the the table have a "block" with their screen name and stack size. Why don't I?

The "challenge completed" banner won't go away and the x to click it off doesn't work. Just lol. It's literally covering 2 people's stack sizes like come on.

It's been over 5 minutes now....

yeah that happens for me also, you have to close the window then open it again to get it to go away.

Thanks. I didn't see anything about the bet slider in the general options so I assume it wasn't addressed.

What specifically do you like about the new update compared to the old version?

i like the fact we can now change the color of the felt, which you can't do in the previous software. helps me organize my tables when im playing multiple mtts/sngs at the same time.

obviously the addition of the custom bet slider option, which wasnt available in the previous version

i like the color coded fold/bet/raise/allin actions

i like the automatic sound when there is an allin on any table

i also like the overall look, i feel like the old look was made for 1999 poker rooms. super ugly.

Any way to revert to the previous version of 888? Hate the new software with a passion. If I wanted to play on mobile app then I would.

I've had some issues with 888 in the last couple of days. After depositing 100$ through a bank slip (because credit cards are a problem for myself) 4 days (not counting saturdays and sundays) have gone by and no money. You try to contact their services through e-mail, no awnser (sent 1 day after the bank slip payment), you attempt to call the number they make it available to solve issues and no one awnsers, there's no one in the online chat to help. After a situation like this it's something to wonder if 888 is located in a kid's backyard. Pokerstars has all the support and the money enters the next day anyone who says 888 is better is either a fool or a crook.

I deposited $10 on 888 and played for the first time in over a year and have made over $100 so far so I should be happy but it is so boring on 888 compared to two years ago.

I still have the old version and from what I have seen of it and heard others opinions on it I am better off. Why cant 888 leave the stuff that works alone and fix the real issues?

Traffic is so poor at the moment that I cant see myself staying here but I will give it another month and see what changes.

If that updated version is forced upon me I will be gone pronto. Nice to see 888s management dept are still as good as ever at screwing up.

To add to my above post, when I log in I get a clog file along with a debug file that cannot be deleted until app is closed. Also when loading the command prompt screen briefly flashes up and does that after leaving a table sometimes and when accessing the free spin.

Is this happening to anyone else and what is it about?
